The staff was super friendly from Marcos doing the foam party to Juanitas Tacos at the adults pool. The staff treated us with great kindness. The friendliness and attentive to our request made this trip very special. The property is well kept. I can tell that everyone works in harmony and knows exactly the expectation. This was a very bad experience for me and my colleagues honestly. The people come to that place to drink all the day, There was a « cucaracha » in the bedroom, which de facto smell awful, humide All the clothes stocked in my luggage’s were contaminated by that’s terrible smell

Had a great stay at Hyatt Ziva! Special shoutout to Mario at Mahika Indian, who went out of his way to make our kids feel welcome. Also Mahika is a brand new restaurant, and serves delicious Indian food, that too in Mexico! We campled all restaurants and all of them were great too. Also we worked with Diego at the front desk to get a paid room upgrade, but the room we ended up with was phenomenal thanks to him! Would come back!

My ac in my room was broken. They tried fixing it several times but kept going out. The buffet was not edible. There was flies on everything. Nothing was properly covered. There were also birds in the Resturant and no one tried to remove them or cover the flood to make safe. When I brought this up they told me a neighboring resort dumped their trash near their property. I switched resorts from a health perspective.

I really enjoyed the Hyatt Ziva excellent staff food and entertainment was on point. The room was cleaned everyday. I highly recommend this place with anyone who has kids or not.

I had high expectations for Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos given my positive experiences at other Ziva properties, but unfortunately this stay fell short in several key areas. - Property Condition: The resort feels poorly maintained. There are noticeable areas of wear and tear, and some flooring is uneven or unsafe, creating real tripping hazards. - Cleanliness & Pest Control: Bugs were a constant issue throughout the property, suggesting that pest control isn’t being handled properly. - Dining Experience: Service at the restaurants was consistently slow, and on multiple occasions staff overlooked dietary restrictions even after confirming them several times. This was frustrating and concerning. The buffet and restaurants offered mostly mediocre food, with only a couple of standout dishes. - Activities & Entertainment: Compared to other Ziva resorts, the activity options here were limited and lacked variety. It didn’t feel like the same level of energy or engagement I’ve experienced elsewhere. Overall, while the location itself has potential, the lack of upkeep, slow service, and safety concerns made this a disappointing experience. With better maintenance, improved staff attentiveness, and more diverse activities, this property could live up to the Hyatt Ziva name, but as it stands, I can’t recommend it.

I don’t usually respond to review requests. Overall, the resort is what you expect from an all inclusive resort. My main reason for the low rating is my “dinner” experience was not what I expected. Just a couple of examples, Italian and Japanese restaurants we had to patiently wait approximately 2hrs.++ for our main dish. Also, staff at the Japanese restaurant were slow on delivering and not as positive as most employees at other venues.
