Overall, amenities were nice. The room was in good condition and cleaned daily. There was some unevenness of our experience.
First, the staff failed to adequately deal with the tenants in the next room who were unbelievably loud after 1 am on BOTH nights we were there. On the first night, our call to the night manager went unanswered. On the 2nd night, we called the manager from my cell phone. He failed to call their room and called us at 130 am when he heard no noise after another person on the floor loudly banged on their door silencing them. He made the inane suggestion of us switching rooms at 130 am in the morning-in which I would have to wake up the other two people in my room and pack to move or another room. Not the most intelligent thought and not geared towards the customer.
The hotel does put out a complimentary breakfast buffet for all room members. Restaurant staff do minimal as juice is poured and water is brought to the table. Breakfast is self service. It makes no sense to get a bill when it is part of the rate and to be asked for a gratuity. The waiter did not like the size of the gratuity and made it known to me and my table. Immediately, I told him that it was not the time or place to address any tip that was given and if he treated all guests like that. This was a surly staff member who at any other hotel would have been fired after making such a remark.
We would look at other hotels in this area before coming back again.
