When we drove up to valet, there was no-one there. So NO valet service even though the hotel offered this. Parking in that area is really challenging. No hot water, moved us to another room but then the shower handle didn't work so you couldn't regulate the temp of the water. Very hard to reach the front desk. They give you a 1800 text number for issues. Dirty dirty dirty. Don't waste your time or money.

Nice room but noisy and no deadbolt door lock.

We arrived late in the night due to a delayed flight. The check-in was online and took a little while. Not something you really want to do after a challenging day. Elevators and hallways were aged and not the cleanest. Our room door did not have a deadbolt-only a door ‘latch’. Windows seem to be original. We were provided with a eyemask and earplugs. It was still pretty noisy. The room itself was small but nice. Bathroom was clean and pretty-just no place to put things like make-up or toiletries. It was just too noisy for us. We left early. I can’t recommend to women rooming single when there is no door deadbolt. Maybe it was just our room.

Like others have stated it is noisy, but if like to state, it's not the hotel that is noisy. It's street noise and sounds coming from venues on the Riverwalk. The hotel is comfortable the rooms are nice and a good size. Parking around the place could be better but if you plan accordingly, you can find parking in public garages for about $10 a day. I thought Maverick was a good place and if I'm ever in San Antonio again, I'll stay there again.

Great apartment for our stay, everything we needed, loved the decor and space. Excellent location to Riverwalk, Alamo and diners/bars. Only downside: no TV antenna for public programing, and no parking included (however paid parking nearby)

I would recommend this booking for those that like to be in the middle of everything…restaurants, shopping, the Riverwalk, public transportation, live music, etc. The staff was excellent and the hotel is secure. I also loved the renovation of the building with a touch of old time charm. If you want quiet time then be sure to ask for a room away from the street view. I would stay again!)
