Pool was unusable because it was way too cold. No reception when arriving. Just a video screen of someone live in Columbia, South America. What ever happened to service. No personal touch what ever! Had problem with TV that took over a hour to get someone to help.

Good. But noticed the floors could have been cleaned better (swept). AND we got ALOT OF ANTS! And that was on the first night we had to deal with that for 3 nights 4 days tried uploading photo but didn't let me :(

1. No one seems to work at the front desk ever. When I checked in I had to walk around for 15 minutes before I found someone. 2.The Kiosk does not always work. When I checked in the machine was down, when I need to adjust my stay the speaker was not working - they had to call the house keeper on her private call phone to help me, and she could not get me a key to my room. 3. If no one is at the front desk, who keeps out the homeless? Who keeps out the thieves. 4. When I go to my car and people are sleeping next to it, I think there is a security issue. The chances of me recommending this hotel chain to my guests and clients is not likely

Kiosk Front Desk
Not much to see make any real judgments. I, personally did not like the kiosk front desk. It lacked the warmth and welcome to the facility. There was no point checking in at this point when I could’ve done everything online. My room did not have the security bar at the top of the door. No stand for the luggage. Tissue paper was scarce. But, the facility served its purpose to house us during our visit. Nothing special.

Place was clean. Convenient to Davis. Bed and pillows comfy. Can bring dog. Fine for a one night stopover. Downside was can hear the conversations (and singing) of the people in the next room, and the continental breakfast was at the lower end of average (svenhardt plastic wrapped danishes, sugary yoplait yogurt, meh coffee, but did have apples and bananas and there’s a Starbucks two blocks away, so whatever).

Clean and recently refurbished. The room was basic but perfectly comfortable and fine. One thing that was a little strange - instead of being greeted by a person, there was a video screen in the lobby with a remote person checking people in. That was odd.
