Great little inn
We liked the small size of the property and proximity to the campus and to town. But it was still a very quiet location, not much traffic between campus and town. But maybe because we were there during break. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was the noise of the room fridge compressor when it came on. But really not a big deal. And we didn't realize we would hear the train. But a gain, not a big deal. Would definitely stay here again if our child decides to go to UC Davis.

Almost gave us a keys to an occupied unit because they had assigned the room we booked to someone else in error. Although we were able to switch the next day, it was inconvenient and disrupted our schedule. Was told we would be given a "huge" discount as a result, which did not happen. They basically lowered our rate to reflect the lower type accommodation we stayed at for the first night. In addition, the shower head ar our 2nd unit was so dirty, I had to clean it myself. I wanted to like this place, but this experience was enough to drive us back to Hyatt. Will never stay or recommend this place.
