Not a good night...

To be fair, this hotel is under renovation and will hopefully be better after it is done. THE CARPETING IN OUR ROOM (214) was so dirty and stained that we didn't want to walk barefoot on it. The room was cool, so I turned the wall heater on, and it stunk so bad I had to turn it off. It smelled like urine. There was NO HOT WATER in the morning , I had to take a cold shower. There was a college volleyball team staying at the hotel, and there was no room or food for other guests in the small breakfast area. I voiced my concerns with the manage, and she did give us a partial refund. I like La Quinta Inn and Suites, and we usually stay there when travelling. Hopefully the new renovations will bring this one up to the quality we expect.

The hotel hallway floors and carpets in hallways were dirty from not being cleaned, stains, sticky floors especially 2nd floor; had a hallway ceiling leak outside my door that was dripping into a large trash can. I alerted the front desk clerk that it was close to over-flowing. Clerk acted surprised about the leak and appeared to be bothered that I brought it to her attention.

La Quinta needs to invest in this property. We had a great stay and a great vacation, but the hotel is run down a bit. 1. The La Quinta sign was broken, so you can't really see it from the road (they are working to fix it). 2. The pool and hot tub were broken. 3. The elevator broke on day two. 4. The vending machine was also broken. This is why they need to get this place going. 1. Its a great location right off exit of 87. You dont even need to turn on the main street. 2. Mall and movie theater are right behind the building. 3. Butcher Block is next door and a great place to grab food. Everything you need is right off that street. Also staff were very friendly

Poorly maintained hotel. Our room had a broken window. We asked for a crib before we arrived and they provided a broken one. The elevator wasn't working on the first night. The vending machine and ice machine were not working on our floor. They remotely shut down the AC at night... but breakfast was very good and the bed were confortable. Won't be returning to a Laquinta hotel.

I was very disappointed!! We checked in very late and were tired so had no choice but to stick with our room. We wanted to shower, there was one bath towel so we had to call for more, I had to use my cell phone because the phone in room was not working! There was mold in tub area, the floor was dirty in every corner. The water pressure was terrible in shower. The blow dryer was not working! The sink would take forever to drain. The matress cover had stains on it! The lamp shade had gross brown stains all over. The head board had smear marks of G knows what! The carpet was filthy! I noticed other rooms had no carpet. We must of been given the work at room! The furniture was banged up. The microwave was old and had a bad smell. The night table was missing knobs! The pool and hot tub was out of order and we were not told ahead of time! I took pictures and videos for proof! There was a lot of noise coming from parking lot where our window faced. The breakfast had watery eggs with grey sausages it was gross! I expect some sort of compensation! This was an awful experience!

First hotel that we didn’t have any issues with wi-fi was a real plus. They’re in a process of renovating the building. Inside was very clean. Staff were hard workers and friendly. Our room on the first floor could be updated, but it was comfortable. Price was great compared to other hotels in the area.

The pool was closed. the ice machine on our floor was broken. When I sat down on the arm chair in our room, the seat cushion collapsed almost onto the floor (I am not that heavy). And there were only two bath towels, one hand-towel and one washcloth for a room with two guests. The place had a generally run-down feeling.But the bed was very comfortable

The eggs for breakfast are not real eggs. The presentation looks more like a yellow cake without frosting. Otherwise our stay was very good. We will stay here again next time we are in Plattsburgh. Thank you.
