Noise issue: there was constant banging from the elevator door slamming during late evening hours.

Nice hotel located close to the train station...

Pros: Nice, boutique style, comfy beds, has 2 elevators, very helpful staff, cool bar.
Location: you can walk to everything in Rome.
We stayed 5 nights the bed was very comfy, room was nice and its very close to train station. We walked to all the sights and had a wonderful trip. Lots of good restaurants. The metro station is very close too. As we were travelling around the country by train, the hotels being close to the station was important to us, after travelling to Florence, Milan, Venice and back to Rome where we had one last night before the flight back to the USA. We again chose this hotel for our 6th night , it was nice to know how close we were after the train ride from Venice, just a block to walk and the familiar surroundings and friendly faces of the staff at Hotel Piram. I would stay here again.

Hotel in Rome

We loved the location and the feel of the hotel. But, things started to take a negative turn when our room was broken into and an expensive personal belonging was taken. We were told to go feel a police report out and they would have to turn it into their insurance. After 3 attempts to go to the police department that was told to go to, we finally filed a report and gave a copy to the hotel. There was no attempt from the hotel to resolve the issue before we left and now were are back in the states without a resolution. We are not feeling confident that this issue will not be resolved anytime soon based on the lack of urgency from the hotel staff.

Nice hotel in good location

Pros: Friendly staff. Very responsive to requests.
Location: The Museo Nazionale Romano is right across the street. Great collection of early mosaics and frescos.
The hotel staff was excellent. We were greeted in English and everything was as expected. There were two nights when we could hear music coming from an adjacent building, but it did not last too long. We had drips coming from our air conditioner one day but it was immediately fixed when we notified the staff. This hotel is near the train station. This made it easy to take a day trip to Florence. If you walk a couple of blocks off the beaten path, you will find excellent restaurants at better prices than those that are near the tourist attractions.

GROSS and RUDE

Cons: No free Internet, Poor breakfast
Ughhh! COuldn't believe the rudeness when I arrived, it was as if we had offended the check-in lady. No free wifi but a slew of unnecessary technological stupidities throughout the hotel (tap lock doors, brand new elevator, etc.) They have their priorities backwards! No hot water, no ice machines (bartender handled the ice with his hands when I finally tracked him down). DO NOT GO - there is a nicer, cheaper, free wifi hotel immediately next door.

Great place in Rome

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Fantastic location and wonderful staff. Very cute room that exceeded our expectations for the price. Very clean but the comforter could have definitely used a wash - smelled pretty funky. Would definitely stay here again! Wladimir is awesome!!

Amazing Hotel

When we arrived from our 20 hour trip to get to Rome, we were greeted by a very friendly staff. They made sure that we got checked in and showed us on a map where everything was that we were wanting to see. Every morning, we went to eat breakfast, which was by far the best breakfast that I have ever had at a hotel. There is also a gorgeous room with a bar where there is periodically live music, and other events taking place. Also, the staff was very friendly with helping me figure out how I was going to get to one of the small hilltowns, and even let me use their printer when I wanted to print last minute tour tickets. The room was of average size, and for being in the historic area of Rome, I was surprised that there was an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The elevator worked perfectly, and it was a very safe place with key card locks and lights. Its location could not have been better, no more than a 5 minute walk to the termini, and no more than a 15 minute walk to the Forum area. Around the corner is a restaurant called Bar Washington, and we ate there a couple times and it was quite good. All in all, my fiance and I felt safe, and very pleased with our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anybody that we talked to about traveling to Rome.

Clean, quiet, centrally located

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
This hotel was in a perfect location. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet and clean. For the price we were astounded at the niceties of the lobby and room. Not a lot of extras, but who spends time in the hotel when their in Rome. The one negative is we were led to believe we were getting breakfast with the package, and when we got there we were informed that the package we bought did not include the breakfast and we could pay extra for it if we wanted.
