We had the best time at the Umilta 36! The staff was fantastic. the location ideal and the property is lovely! Our suite was beautiful with a large double vanity in the bathroom and a walk-in closet. We were traveling with our 10 year old son and had plenty of space and privacy. The breakfast was delicious! Will definitely stay here again when we visit Rome!

Love This Hotel That Few Have Heard Of

Jewel of a hotel. Charming decor. Modern amenities. Gorgeous suite--like an apartment...all brand new. Fantastic bathroom. Excellent air conditioning. Complementary soft drinks in minibar. Central location-almost never had to take a taxi anywhere--no more than 10 min walk max, from just about any site. Really just a lovely stay---Highly Recommend!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for our 25th anniversary. Our room was spectacular and the staff incredible. Our highest praises to Alessandra for her warmth and hospitality. Regarding the location it is a mere 5 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and a modest walk to most of the major tourist sites inside the city, but just a couple streets over from all the "bustle" of the city traffic. Don't miss the view from the rooftop bar. It's good during the day and picturesque at night. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable stay.

Excellent hotel nearby the Trevi fountain

The hotel was in a very good location, and the staff were extremely friendly. However, the room was somewhat noisy. It was clearly not soundproof. Fortunately, it was quiet around the time I fell asleep. One of the ceiling lights was flickering due to a malfunction, so I asked the female receptionist to have it fixed, but it wasn’t repaired by the time I checked out. Since there was no feedback, I couldn’t tell whether the repair was simply delayed or if the request had been overlooked. The bathroom, shower booth, and wardrobe were all very high-end, and the radiator in the bathroom kept it warm at all times, which was a great plus. Overall, the room’s interior design was absolutely excellent. The seafood restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel was very delicious. The vongole pasta, in particular, was amazing. The menu is the same for both lunch and dinner. In the evening, the dim lighting creates a nice atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a tasty meal. Overall, it was excellent, and since the Trevi Fountain is right in front of the hotel, I could see it often as I walked by.
