Spotless room, just above the Trevi- truly- DIRECTLY above. Ample space (we got a double room)- but what MADE our stay was the the staff- our check in was warm and informative, and then Anna -bless her- arranged for transport and bag storage, with great patience and care. The description of a lift at this property is a deception. Property includes approximately 9 buildings scattered around reception building area. Lift is attached to main building. Our room was located 7 minutes walk from main reception and accessed by 75 very steep stairs. On arrival we were not greeted by concierge, instead interogated about our reservation. Concierge demanded I email him my wotif receipt to prove my booking, this has not happened at any of the other 15 or 16 properties booked through whatif in the last 6 weeks. The concierge palmed us off to the porter who had no clue what to do. Breakfast was a 7 minute walk back to reception where the lift took you up to the 4th floor and another series of steps to get to the breakfast room. This property is not accessible to aging or disabled travellers. Very very disappointing considering the amount paid for this establishment.

Very very central hotel at the fontana di trevi . Our room was on the third floor with no lift. The stairs to reach the room are stressful to everyone, a customer should be asked before given a room with no lift. The floor of the room was never cleaned in 3 days.
