Nice hotel, right next to the train station

Stayed at UNA for one night, hotel staff was super nice, they upgraded us to a suite, breakfast was good, only downside is no A/C in the room after 6pm when it’s somewhat cold outside. It's location is very conveniently located and a two minute walk from Termini.

Great location (one block from the central train and metro stations), walked to many locations and took the very convenient metro to others (Vatican etc.). Very comfortable bed and super bathroom w/soaking tub and rain shower. Excellent full breakfast. Courteous staff. Helped make our visit to Rome a great one.

Quite Pleased, By Far the Best We Experienced

This was the best place we stayed over the course of 10 days in Rome. Clean, clean, clean ... every corner in every space was clean; no grime or mold or mildew, which is no uncommon in many hotels. It is a bit more expensive than other hotels in the area, but well worth it. The general area is quite safe and many sidewalk restaurants in the blocks surrounding the hotel. Grocery store across street. Literally, it is one block from the huge Termini train station, which has hundreds of awesome and affordable food vendors. Good choice and good location. Plenty of busses and Metro station within 200 yards, perfect for sightseeing.

Nice hotel but...

The hotel room is very nice, clean, and has a modern looking. But there is a catch. It has only one desk chair in the room (though the room is spacious per European standard). It would have been very sweet to lie down on a sofa or at least each had a chair to sit on after a day's intensive walking tour/sightseeing. Instead, my husband and I had to take turn to sit on the sole chair. Breakfast buffet is so so, but the hotel was very kind to provide us two breakfast boxes on our last day as we had to leave early to catch the train to airport. The Wifi has good speed but registion process is a little bit cumbersome. Overall it's a good hotel

Great Time at UNA

Pros: The location, the staff, and close proximity to all the major attractions
Cons: The breakfast could be improved. The breakfast buffet was good; however, their scambled eggs were very runny.
Location: The hotel is centrally located for walking to all the major attractions along with being close to great restaurants.
The UNA Hotel is a great hotel. It is centrally located in the heart of Rome, and is a three minute walk from the city's main Terminal (Roma Termini), which provides train service to and from Fiumicino Airport, other Italian cities, along with the metro and bus service for commuting throughout the city. The hotel is well equipped with a good restaurant and bar. From the hotel my wife and I walked to the following attractions: Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Spagna, Roman Forum, Circo Massimo, Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori. We took the metro to visit St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican Museum, and Castel Sant' Angelo. There are several good restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel staff was fantastic. Upon checking in, the clerk gave us a city map and outlined all the major attrations. That proved to be extremely helpful. We upgraded upon checking-in to a room with a patio for an extra 10 Euros a day, and it was well worth the additional cost. The room was small but very accomodating, and the bed was very comfortable. Because the hotel is so close to Termini station, you will see some unsavory characters but don't fret. There are always many people, mostly tourists, in the area so you shouldn't feel unsafe. It's no different than being in New York City. The positives of staying at the UNA Hotel far outweigh any negatives. In fact, I would highly recommend anyone looking to visit Rome to consider staying at the UNA.

Great hotel, Great location

Very nice hotel in a great location. Hotel was really nice with decent sized rooms. Tub is huge but was so tall it was a little hard to get into (I'm short). Tons of restaurants nearby and free breakfast with the room. About a 25 minute walk from the Spanish steps and other attractions or a 7-13€ cab ride away. It was a really nice hotel and a great location. I would absolutely stay there again.

Clean Comfortable Convenient

Pros: Rooms were clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant served a wonderful dinner. The locations is 3 minutes walk from Roma Centrale ...
Cons: Need an fitness room.
Location: Many museums and basilica within walking distance.
I was on an extended tour of Italy (Venice, Florence, Pisa, Naples, and lastly Rome). I decided to stay in Rome for an extra day and do a one-day visit of Pompei so I chose UNA Hotel. It is clean, comfortable, and located in a convenient area (Roma Centrale Train Station). The restaurant served a wonderful dinner and the waiter was very helpful. The only reason I took away one star from overall rating and hotel facilities was a lack of fitness room to exercise. UNA Hotel is an excellent hotel and cost more. I was surprised that it did not have an exercise room, so I took away a star for that. But if you do not exercise then it a mute point.
