There were restaurants and gelato shops nearby. My husband bought a nice leather belt in a nearby store. It was a little tricky getting into the building. Lucky someone was coming out and that's how we got in. Then again tricky to find the reception area. Once we settled in the staff was super nice by giving us wine and snacks and when it was time for us leave for the cruise port they called a cab for us.

The location was hard to beat, walking distance to all the main sights of Rome. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was ample and delivered to your room. Downsides were the bed, like most of Europe it was 2 singles pushed together. The addition of a mattress topper would have made the world of difference so you don’t fall into the crack between the beds. The rooms could do with some renovations, peeling paint and rusting fixtures in the bathroom. But overall a very pleasant stay

We loved Rome.

Great location in Rome. Was able to walk many places. Restaurants and bars not far. Entrance to hotel is a little interesting but easy to figure out. For the price rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

People were very nice but felt ripped off on the ride to hotel from airport. Luggage took way to long to get to us. driver phoned a couple times checking and complaining about the wait??? Only when we got to where he was to be he was not to be found but we found our name card pinned to wall. Other drivers who were waiting said he would be right back? He did finally show up 10 minutes later for he said he went to get a sandwich and had to wait in line? Not our problem!!!! Not really happy when we got to hotel we had a 50 euro extra charge for him waiting longer than usual wait? Answer I got from hotel staff said that was the policy in place for waiting time!! Not happy will not recommend this hotel because of this they should have stood up for a for us having to wait while the driver ran off to get his lunch? Unhappy customer for hotel staff not handling this situation properly .

Met our expectations based on price and limited time we spent in room for the 2 days we were in Rome. Staff very friendly and helped us out of a Jam when we lost our room key after hours. The area is an older area so don’t expect 1st class modern accommodations. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Security was good but a bit of noise with others coming and going. Over all this is a well priced place to lay your head to rest after a busy day in Rome seeing the sites
