Nice but dated

Great location. Rooms were a bit tired and lacked electric points. Bathroom was dated and very small. Air conditioning didn’t work so ended up with a fan and a hot room. Bed was big and comfy. Staff were excellent and breakfast was good.

Nice stay

Charming hotel just a few meters away from the Colosseum. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, decent size single room and great breakfast. The only negative point was the shower which is really tiny and the drain doesn’t allow the water flow down properly. Overall a nice stay in a nice location.

Enjoyable ambiance sets this property a cut above my expectations. We were looking for somewhere walkable to Rome’s city center, and Hotel Lancelot is about a half mile from the world’s most famous amphitheater. Located on a quiet side street, we were only minutes from several good Italian restaurants, and the property has a fine breakfast, a dinner option, and a nice bar. Everyone from the room steward to the front desk and bartender were very friendly. Finally, the price was excellent. ¡Magnifico!—Hotel Lancelot
