It took almost an hour for someone to arrive to give us keys. No apology. Then while we were on a tour we received a call stating they had put us in the wrong room. We ended our one day in Rome early to go back to the hotel and they made us wait again until they showed up. They had taken all of our luggage out of our room and put it unsupervised in the common room!! When they finally told us what room to use it was exactly the room they took us out of. No apology. They said it was an internet mixup. Why could they not have put the other person in that room? Definitely something strange going on there. Do not recommend this hotel to other travelers!

They should call this a B&B. We go to B&B's a lot in the United States and Opera Dreams is just like them. You not only get a very clean and nice room, you get the aid of ladies who know the area and will help you with pretty much any thing you need. Roberta gave us help as only a Italian could. My husbands luggage was delayed and thanks to her quick thinking, she was able to set up a delivery time and she waited for it. This was so great because the next day we were going on a cruise. Nice for him to have clothes to wear!! Above her job responsibilities. I think any of the gals would do the same! Another BIG plus is you are only a couple of blocks from the train/bus/metro station that is the second largest after the one in Paris. We are talking about going back to Rome in a few years and we will stay at Opera Dreams.

The location of Opera Dreams is very good, you can walk to many places of interest. I think we were not lucky with the tiny room provided (I read the comments about spacious rooms) we had no space to place our luggage, my husband had to open his suitcase on the floor ... very uncomfortable. I don't know anything about a 5 star as it appears on Expedia. I found it suitable for young people or students ... as an AirB & B ... I DO NOT recommend it or would go back. Roberta one of the owners was very friendly and the rest of the staff alike ... and the elevator is beautiful

My wife and I stayed here four nights in mid-October, the last four nights of our two-week vacation to London, Paris, Venice, & Rome. It was our favorite of all the places we stayed. The room was larger and more up-to-date than others we had. The bathroom, also, was more spacious than what we had prior. Very clean, very comfortable, and very quiet. The location is fabulous. Great restaurants and gelato very close. Best of all was the service. Roberta was so very kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to make our stay truly delightful. Would gladly stay here again.

We stayed at the property only one night as a stop over. Welcoming Staff were very friendly and helpful with info on local attractions and rail scheduling. Breakfast was included and was available at 6:30 AM. Items were varied and fresh and the coffee was very good. The Property was within walking distance to Roma Termini which we chose it for and was quite close to the Forum and Trevi Fountain.

It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The advertised pictures are very misleading and deceptive. First of all the place is in a residential building across the opera house on the 2nd floor. The elevator is tiny and doesn't operate 24 hr. If you have luggage, it's very hard to get in so be prepared to carry to the 2nd floor. The entrance is through one leaf of door. The Reception area is tiny. If someone is already at the reception, there is no way to get in. There was only one lady who works there. You can tell from my pictures. The towels are cheap; No cover of the comforter and there was a giant stain; It was gross!!! No bathroom fan and the shower stall and toilet flush are disgusting. I don't understand how this place can be rated so high??? I am actually writing this review to bring justice to this place. I spent my last night in Rome there and I regretted every bit of it. I feel bad seeing a lot of seniors at this place and an elderly gentleman had to carry the check-in luggage downstairs. I couldn't believe the rate was $200 of 1 night in total.

Nothing to dislike. Perfect location for getting to Rome’s tourist sightseeing locations with metro and train termini just 5-10 minutes walk. Opera dreams is a wonderful bed and breakfast and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Room had tea/coffee making facilities which you don’t always get in hotels in Rome. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again when we next go. Also surrounded by lots of good value restaurants.

Brilliant location and property

Lovely stay in this little hotel. Perfect location within easy reach of the station and main attractions. Service was impeccable with owner reaching out soon after the reservation was made regarding arrival time. Luggage storage makes it easy to visit the sights before your flight. Breakfast was completely adequate. All staff we met were friendly and very willing to help and advise on the best way to see Rome.

A comfortable, convenient stay

Opera Dreams is a short walk from Roma Termini train station. The room was comfortable and clean. A couple of strange things: no door on the shower so it was easy to spray the bathroom and a hard, cheap plastic chair for use at the desk. Breakfast was excellent : breads, fruit, vegetables, cereals, eggs, coffee and tea. Snacks available all day. Staff is pleasant and helpful.
