Clean and quiet at night. No breakfast offered, but you can make coffee/tea in your room and there is a mini-fridge. The A/C is welcome during hot weather. I would stay here again.

The property is in a great location, close to old town. There's plenty of space. It is up 4 flights of stairs, just something to keep in mind. Owners came to greet and carried heavy bag up the stairs for me though.

The location was excellent, but unfortunately, that was the only highlight. The receptionist is only available from 2 PM onwards and couldn't even let us store our luggage. We thought it would be like a hotel, but it consisted of just a few rooms on the second floor (I think). The elevator looked very old, and we didn't want to take a chance. The reception area was cramped, with a desk surrounded by towels, making it feel very congested. There were fewer than 10 rooms, and the corridor to our room was narrow. The window faced the outside, where many people walked by and talked, which wasn't what we expected. Other than the convenient location, there wasn't much else to recommend.

Service was fabulous, high end neighborhood. Very safe. The room was very small and no breakfast offered, would suggest for one night. Bed was comfortable and room was clean but basic. Good value for money.

Our overall stay at Grand Frattina was great! Property is very close to monuments (Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps) and there were plenty of food and drink options. Our receptionist and point of contact Vadna was very accommodating and pleasant and our cleaning service from Margie was amazing. Apart from the room being on the smaller side we highly recommend.

The property was nice and modern but the room was tiny. It was so difficult to do anything in the room we had, with two ppl and two suitcases, it was impossible. They were not very well configured, huge sink in the bathroom, that meant you had no room to be in there to do anything. Definitely form over function. It was also very difficult to get to the place on check in day. No where on the booking did it say that if you were coming before 2pm you had to go to a completely different location to speak to them. The booking info simply stated that reception was available from 7.30am. Fortunately there was a housekeeping person there who gave us the address of where we could go for more information however the staff there were fairly dismissive and unhelpful. We dropped off our bags there and when we returned for proper check in we were told that our bags had been moved to the accomodation. Which was a nice gesture but would have been great if they had told us so we didn't travel to different locations trying to check in. We stayed in several places that had different accomodation addresses to their reception but they all communicated clearly and accurately. This place was terrible at communication. It is a very convenient location but make sure you request one of the bigger rooms unless you are travelling solo and perhaps call them in advance because they will not contact you with special instructions. Also, beware of mosquitos, even with windows shut they got in.

Fantastic Stay

Had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Frattina. From the time we arrived to the time we left the staff were great and couldn't do enough for us they made our stay extra special. Mahmoud was so kind to us and gave us so much information and recommendations we couldn't of asked for more. The Frattina was in such a great location and was within walking distance to most historical sites (only 2 minutes walk from Spanish Steps). We were surrounded by shops and restaurants there was something there for everyone. We had a family room and it was superb the room was very modern and very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit beautiful Rome.

Frattina Grand Suites

The hotel was a bit tough to find at first. No signage, only a name on a security call button. Once located, all was good. The hotel is in a fantastic location, easy walk to most things. The staff is extremely helpful. They assisted with transportation to and from airport and provided directions, even a nearby laundromat.
