Patrick was very helpful and constantly checking we were happy, asking if we needed anything. Close to the colosseum, a bit further from other sites, metro stop outside, 10 min walk from main train station.

Spacious rooms

On the whole, we enjoyed our stay at DVE Suite. The host was friendly and very accommodating of our schedule and luggage storage needs. The room was very spacious by European standards. The hotel is conveniently located right by a metro station, as well as a larger grocery store. The area surrounding the hotel is very multicultural. There were lots of food options, but not as many that featured traditional Italian cuisine. The area generally felt safe, following usual precautions for tourists. Unfortunately, our shower did not have hot water. The bed was very firm and the bedding was lightweight. While our room was serviced, our bed was left unmade.

The staff was great and very kind. The room was okay, bed was a bit stiff, no view from the window besides the building across, it was okay. The walls are thin tho, I had a group also staying in the hotel and I could hear them loudly and laughing for 3 nights in a row, all the way till 2 - 3 in the morning sometimes. I didn’t like that. But the hotel was okay, staff was friendly, and the metro is right outside the front door

We loved staying at DVE suites. Patrick (or Patricio) was very friendly and accommodating. He let us drop off our luggage prior to check in. Location is very convenient and the room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in Rome. My only caution would be not to buy anything from Bar Krystal just below DVE suites. If they detect that you are a tourist, they will jack up the price on whatever you want to buy as there are no prices listed. We were going to get Gelato there until I asked what the price was. Five Euros for 1 scoop of Gelato is outrageous. Apparently they think every tourist is a sucker!
