The apartment is on the first floor without elevator and consiste one bedroom with double bed, one bathroom with shower, living room with double sofa bed, table and chairs, kitchen (max 2 + 2 people - 60sqm). Fantastic location, in the middle of Trastevere but tucked away in an alley so you have your own privacy and quiet. Super easy communication with host. Washing machine but no dryer, though they provide a drying rack so clothes will still dry relatively quickly. Would certainly stay again!

Trastevere

Very nice apartment. Small kitchen and shower, but it's doable. Air conditioning worked well! The previous reviews mentioning the stairs to the apartment were accurate...they are steep! The neighborhood was amazing, we spent more time there then across the river where all the crowds were. Make sure your taxi/Uber drops you close by or you'll be dragging your suitcases a long way on rough streets.

When our travel plans got moved up a day, we needed a place to stay in Rome just for one night. This place fit the bill very well. Like many older places in European cities, it has its charms, and it has its challenges. We had a bit of difficulty with the key for the door, but after a little while, we realized you just had to turn it really hard to the left to unlock it. The only other thing I’d mention is that the shower is very tight space. We had no problem with it, but a large, plus-sized person would probably find it a bit difficult to maneuver in there. But like I said, it comes with the territory in these older accommodations. There’s only so much space for installing a shower. Otherwise, it was a great stay for our first night in Rome. The location in Trastevere is excellent. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and it’s wonderful to wander through its cobblestone alleyways and piazzas. Communication with the host was very good in advance of arrival, and they left some very good information for us in a booklet with recommendations for restaurants and other useful information.
