The property was beautiful! The view was beautiful! Staff was very helpful and friendly. The only thing that would make it better would be some sort of convenience shop for forgotten essentials. For example medications.. toiletries etc.. my son ate something that disagreed with him and we could not get him a simple Tums to make him feel better. A hotel of this size normally has at least a small area to purchase these items.

Went there was very disappointed to find out they were having a parents without partners that were deceased with their children and there was kids everywhere. I understand that’s unfortunate but me and my sister were trying to vacation was not a good time. Very disappointed very expensive. they should’ve informed us. Riverhead visit

Beautiful hotel ,staff very efficient and friendly lifts to the rooms were very fast Lovely size room with very comfortable beds ,lovely view over the pool and the lake from the room. Breakfast was not included in our booking but we paid for the breakfast in the hotel which was very filling and varied each morning plenty of coffee available also fresh fruit pancakes and eggs. Plenty of information at reception of what was popular in the area Winery visits were popular The hotel has a very interesting Aquarium next door . This is a beautiful hotel just 1.5 hrs outside New York we travelled by train and got a taxi from the station where there were plenty of Taxis available at a reasonable cost

Nice hotel in a nice area

Lovely hotel. Family rooms were very spacious and perfect for the 4 of us. Pool area really clean and lots of sunbeds. Breakfast was great and good choice. We had an issue with a very noisy neighbour, which was dealt with and we were moved rooms the next day, as well as security helping in the night. Riverhead is a nice area, can recommend Cuccino pizza.

The Hyatt is best known for its breakfast included when you book your stay. I was told that some bookings do while others don’t. Some of the staff were very friendly while others were not. I couldn’t get a receipt because I was told I booked through a third party. Guess where I won’t be staying next time.
