"The hotel is beautiful and next to the river. You can rent e-bikes to ride around. Their restaurant is very nice overlooking the Douro River. Be aware that transportation to/from the hotel is limited as there are nearly no taxis in town and they only accept cash."

Thank you Rui for explaining all the different cheese and wine pairings. Thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast was extravagant with a wide variety of food and beverages and a great coffee machine.
