We walked everywhere. It was on the beach so we had a view of the ocean from our balcony. It was close to the stores and restaurants of Rehobeth.

Awesome stay
Weather was rainy and we got soaked first night. We never were able to dry things at the beach before. Everything we hung to dry got dry. WOW. We love Rehoboth & right on the boardwalk is convenient. The only thing we would add is a pool. What the hotel offers is awesome. The fridge in the room kept things COLD. Beds comfy, rooms roomy. Shower/tub easy to use

My family and I were a little disappointed. We spent a premium price on this hotel and very little was offered. Parking was limited and spots were super tight. No pool, no breakfast, no complimentary water and check in time was 4pm. We will not be going back.

The room was not clean. The beds were overused and worn down on one side leaving you in a hole of falling off and they were the hardest mattresses I've ever slept on. Absolutely miserable experience esp for the price we paid. Would never go back

Shower needs remodel
We have stayed at Henelopen before and had an oceanfront room that was very clean, but this trip in our oceanfront room the shower was disgusting. There was mold and soap scum in various places in the shower like it has never been cleaned and the shower floor had cracks in it. I would say it is time for a remodel or at least re-grout and clean the whole shower. I made the front desk aware and showed them pictures. Other than the shower not being clean the room is pretty nice and the bed is comfy too. Great ocean view and good location.

“Free Parking”
Not a bad stay but the “free parking” is now costing me at least $750 paint the hood to my brand new jeep. DO NOT park in their parking garage. Mangers claim they aren’t responsible for the damage done from leaks from the garage ceiling. Paint on the hood of my new jeep is completely ruined by acid from the ceiling. I was worried about tight parking and someone hitting it but I checked each day and no damage. When I went to leave and saw the yellow on the jeep hood I assumed it would come off when I got home to clean it. Wrong. It ate through the paint but they aren’t responsible or liable, so they say. There absolutely should be responsibility if it your property damaging mine. I should have just paid for street parking. Maybe find somewhere with actual free parking!?

We enjoyed our stay. Overall our room was clean and cery comfortable. The bathroom was so big, but the cleaning staff did not scrub the shower which left the spray on cleaner streaked, and there was no exhaust fan so it got very very steamy!! The kitchenette area was clean, other than a pizza box was left in a cabinet- no bugs so probably from the previous day. We would stay again!
