Very nice resort. Enjoyed the pool, bar food was yummy and the dj made for a fun atmosphere. Nice to not have to go far to enjoy the beach , restaurants and shops. And the parking also was very easy and included.

I loved the location and most of the facilities but they are in need of some upgrades...the trash cans in the room were so cheap they seemed like they must be from a dollar store!! the soap dish was crap...and the bathroom sink had a giant crack in it!! the staff were not well trained...I got into bed on my first night and it had sand in it!! when I told the front desk the next day the young woman didn't even say oh I'm sorry or anything! she just said so you'd like your sheets changed? they need a lot more help too bc a lot of facilities weren't up to par (lobby bathrooms!). the food (except for the amazing New England clam chowder!!) was horrible (I am not sure there were any clams inside the breading of the clam strips!?) and the servers were nice but NOT well trained!! the reason I gave it a "good" though is bc it was a fun location and good facilities (even if they need some upgrades)...plus you can tell they are trying by upgrading artwork etc...

Wonderful stay!! Tiki bar needs work

We’ve been staying at Ocean Place for several years and it doesn’t disappoint!! Rooms are clean and comfortable, had a problem with A/C not cooling so was easily moved to another room. Staff brought requested extra bedding and were so nice. Only criticism is Tiki bar which is great in theory but not in practice: staff is not attentive (too busy flirting and talking with each other/guests) and the bar is filthy. Take some time to literally clean, wipe everything down, get rid of empty boxes and unneeded items rather than pile them up where they can be seen. And I love to see staff having fun but don’t forget about service!!

No pool access. This was a big problem for me

Filming another spring break movie. WHY????? No access to pool for entire stay because of them filming this movie. Ugh. Claim I was suppose to receive a call. No one called me. However, I called on another matter and spoke to reservations several times. No one mentioned that I would not be able to use the pool for this week. I was traveling with a friend. She’s the beach person. I’m the pool person. So, I lost out all around. Also, no smart tv. Limited cable channels.ugh The positive is, private access to the beach which includes chairs and umbrellas included in your fee for staying at the resort.
