I would not let my dog sleep in this hotel. This obviously is a drug hotel bc all you could smell was marijuana from the time you walked on the hallways to the room. Front desk didn’t seem to be bothered by the complaint

Really bad experience

Totally run down yet feel sorry for the very sweet cleaning lady. She was great but hotel is very run down. Roaches, broken toilet, chipped pain, torn wallpaper, broken fixtures, dirty blankets, worn out mattresses with cigarette burns, and nothing in gym consisting of 3 items worked. Very bad experience. Definitely not worth the money.

Can't recommend

Pros: Location
Cons: Upgrade everything or tear it own and start over.
Location: Near downtown.
Hotel needs serious upgrading. Old, dirty, musty smell, plugs didn't work, couldn't charge phone, bed low and hard, pillows small and flat and uncomfortable, coffee terrible. Didn't even try breakfast.

One of the worst hotels i have been to recently.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Complete overhaul
Location: Location is good-close to NCState, parking good, no chance to do things nearby.
I thought because this Days Inn was associated with Wyndham hotels that it would be decent. I was going to stay at the Holiday Inn Express but it was booked solid-so I looked up Days Inn-pics looked good enough and it was just overnight for business, so I booked it. Arrived late-10:00 pm or I would have checked right out. The hallway from the lobby leading to the room was dim and grimy, the ice machine looked like it have never been cleaned and that was just on the way to my room. Hallways were dim, carpeting worn and dirty. Then the room-UGH! Dark and cold. The middle of the bed was sunken, wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, bugs in the bathtub, an awful odor in the room..... i could go on but don't have time. Very, very disappointed-could only sleep with one eye open and was exhausted for my meeting the next day. I and my colleagues and clients will be traveling and staying in Raleigh quite often over the next year, and unless you make gross improvements, I will not be recommending your facilities. Sorry, Marion Stecklow

Run down

Stayed in a smoking room so i expected some stale cigarette odor but this room stunk. We opened the door and were.assulted with the smell of skunk. We probably got a contact high just walking in. The guests before us must have had a party because their were used shot glasses in the room and outside the door. The shower was dark, small and mildew was growing. The wiring in the room was terrible ( everything in the room was unplugged when we arrived including the ac and refrigerator) the alarm clock and the lamp had to both be pugged into the socket for the alarm clock to work. A maid brought the coverlet for the bed and barged in without even knocking.

It was just okay

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy, kinda smelly...
I was scared all night because doors were slamming; people were in and out and because I had read a lot of bad reviews. But nothing bad happened and this place has great proximity to restaurants and stores. All in all, for a last minute, cheap place to wait out the hurricane it was ok. But if you're a single lady, you might want to ask to be put close to the reception area. I was at the very end and felt nervous.

Felt like I was at a cheap motel out in hickville

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Noisy, worn out
Well, the first room we tried had non-working lights-the lamp switch was actually missing, the phone cord was broken so the phone didnt work, and fridge was unplugged & tied up behind so couldnt reach to plug in (had microo on top so couldnt reach over either). Got another room-at leat the lights worked. Filthy carpet, very worn furniture, and the placed smelled like stale smoke and mildew. We were awakened many times throughout night by voices, slamming doors, and people in the parking lot. Felt like a cheap motel. On the + side, staff was very friendly and breakfast was ok. So, need a cheap place to crash-fine. Staying for a couple relaxing nights-NO!

great location

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants
This hotel is your typical efficiency hotel room. It is perfect for an overnight stay if you are going to a concert or some other event downtown in Raleigh. Located within easy walking distance of local museums, bars, etc. Walls are thin- we could hear the people in the next room, but the hotel has a very strict noise policy so everyone was relatively quiet. I will definately stay here again.

Chose as a value for the money and met my needs. Close and convenient to downtown.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
I reserved this room while attending a soccer tournament due to proximity to my child's teams' hotel and price. Found the room very satisfying for the price though it did smell a little musty (nothing a vanilla candle couldnt overcome!). The room was fairly clean, but exterior could use a more thorough cleaning. Overall, what i expected for the price.
