"My partner has mobility issues, and from the moment we arrived it became immediately apparent that your hotel is wholly unsuitable for guests with any form of reduced mobility. Even getting from the car park into the hotel was extremely difficult due to the number of stairs and the complete lack of appropriate accessible alternatives. Throughout the hotel there are stairs everywhere with little to no consideration for accessibility. What has made this even more disappointing is that we specifically chose your hotel because of the spa facilities, expecting this to be somewhere we could relax and enjoy together. Instead, getting to the spa itself felt like an obstacle course for someone with mobility difficulties. To make matters worse, once at the swimming pool, my partner was left embarrassed and distressed because there was simply no safe or accessible way for him to enter the pool. The steps were extremely steep, there were no suitable accessibility facilities, and the surrounding floor was dangerously slippery. The entire experience was humiliating for him and deeply upsetting for both of us. When we raised these concerns with staff, we were offered a couple of complimentary drinks. Frankly, we found this response completely inadequate given the seriousness of the issues raised. Even staff themselves acknowledged that the hotel is not accessible for people with mobility issues, which makes this situation even more concerning."
