Our room was lovely and the air-conditioning and heating system worked well. We very much enjoyed the spa. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. We did not really care for the dinner menu so didn’t eat there.

My room, as with the parts of the hotel I visited, is in need of refurbishment - fresh paint, new carpets etc - but everything was clean. No comment on either breakfast, bar or restaurant because I did not use any of them. Good for a one night stay and so convenient for Oban station.

The water in the shower was tepid at best. Apparently they had the boilers replaced recently, they told us, but the shower was poor. Kettle had a massive dent in it.
