Room was beautiful and the location was great. Contactless which I wasn't sure about but was great. Easy code to get into the building and our room and check out was just as easy. Lovely Tea/Coffee bar with snacks. Will stay here again.

Residence Inn by Marriott Portsmouth Downtown/ Waterfront
Room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was smooth and easy. Everyone was friendly and patient. The valets hustled as it was busy on Saturday night. Easy walk to the downtown area and waterfront dining. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Hilton Garden Inn Portsmouth Downtown
Outside the front door were large planters with dead summer flowers. Horrible first impression. Christmas decor inside was cheesy, tired and would have been better throwing the pitiful Christmas tree away. Pride in appearence is critical to image.
