Unaware of the hotel being under construction. The hotel is extremely dated, and do not match the photos. Dated, example? The clock on the nightstand is an IDoc/clock. That adapter fits no technology in the last 10 years.

Aside from a couple blemishes, cracks and such in the bathroom, everything was fantastic! The room was spacious and clean, the host when we checked in made me want to adopt her as my grandma (literally the sweetest!!), we were given water and cookies and check in/out was ridiculously smooth. Literally could not beat it especially for the price!!

The room was nice. The staff only cleaned once when I had requested more washcloths. It was Christmas week, so I'm not sure that was the reason. They state they charge for a morning buffet, but I saw no easy way to do that, and it's really not worth what they said they charged. The bar area was not operational. There was also a smell in the hallway due to the renovations underway. That said, the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helped whenever asked. The room was quiet, with a large desk to work at and tables downstairs as well. It was well located near things I wished to do. Everything in the room was clean and well maintained.

My mother was unexpectedly hospitalized during my holiday vacation and the staff did everything they could to make my stay as easy as possible.
