"Clean, fairly new…. Preferred club is worth it. All staff professional and friendly. Rooms are spacious. Area is convenient to shops and restaurants. The local beach is amazing in the mornings. Chair reserving continues to be an issue - not a property problem but a clientele problem. Don’t be that person! There are plenty for everyone especially if people don’t leave their towel suntanning for three or four hour stretches. "

"The Volcán is a traditional hotel with exceptional service, some of the areas of the hotel look a bit dated but the room was fantastic everything you need and kept so clean amazing . The food is of a great standard with a great daily selection. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend."

"This was such a gem for a fantastic business stay! It’s tucked away in a quieter spot but easy 10 minute walk to the hustle and bustle, restaurants, beach, groceries, etc. Had a great view of the pool on a large terrace, spotlessly clean and well appointed kitchen to make meals, and really comfortable space to open the patio doors for breeze that you didn’t need to turn on air conditioning. There was also buffet breakfast but I opted to make meals which was convenient with the on-site market which had competitive prices to the in-town shops. Next time would love to use all 3 pools, tennis court, and check out the happy hour. Also, really lovely staff who were always smiling and helpful. "
