Imagine this. Big event (cornhole tournament) going on at events center next door. Packed house at hotel. Two lady dining room attendant's advised Dining room Closed for lunch (only soup/salad) SATURDAY because “CHEF” was out getting supplies at 12:30PM and should be good to go by 4:00 service. Only to find out later there were two more chefs in back!!!! I can Tell you that I wouldn’t trust any of these people on the noon shift from that day. Shady s-it going on here. The bar gal and evening dining room lady attendants were DELIGHTFULL!! Won’t happen again.

Sliding down hill slowly

I have a love-hate relationship with this hotel. I love the onsite restaurant, I love the breakfast, I love the rooms in the Atrium. I don't love that the ice machines never work, the vending rarely works and the crazy noise around the property (loud teens and drunk adults).

Everything is very dated. I had to keep pulling out furniture to find electrical outlets, the shower/bathroom faucets had lost their mounting, and the bed had ghostly looking imprints in them. Breakfast was rough….

Maintenance was rude, if the tub doesn’t drain, he'll blame you for shaving. If your plumbing can't handle one person shaving, there was problems before the guest arrived. I waited for the tub to drain for at least 5 minutes. As soon as I turned the water on, the water started holding in the tub with the drain OPEN. Maybe it was the crust that came out of the drain when I turned it on, that clogged up the pipes... just a thought. Hopefully they fix the plumbing, and the maintenance guys attitude. He should also do the job the right way, AND have good hospitality skills. Both are lacking.

Great for what it’s worth

The hotel was overall a great stay. The room we had did have a lot plumbing issue, but front desk answered right away and sent maintenance to fix it. Maintenance guy was very friendly and address the matter quickly. The beds were comfortable, but pillows can always be better. For the pricing of the stay, you get what you pay for. If you’re wanting something better and more comfortable, you could probably room elsewhere. Otherwise the convince of having a bar and small restaurant on the first floor is a cool feature.

The hotel is very “tired”. We have stayed there a few times.They need an overall renovation. The elevator is ancient. The bedside lamps and shades are old. No usb/outlets on bedside lamp. The shower heads need replacing. The tub didn’t drain well. The toilet was leaking water to under the floor tiles(they did come fix that). One of the mattresses had a crater in it from wear. The carpet is worn and stained. The thermostat on the heat/ac unit did not work properly. Unless the property get a major facelift, we will not be staying there again.
