Great hotel

The location was very convenient for us, plus this plaza wherw the hotel is located is very nice. The room was perfectly clean and quiet. I'll definitely stay in this hotel again!

Always clean

The room is always clean, staff is always nice. It always looks like a brand new hotel. Also, they serve a nice free breakfast. They have a nice pool and indoor parking

Staff was very friendly

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
My fiance and I were looking at apartments in town and stayed here. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. They asked us every afternoon how our apartment search was going! The rooms were very nice and modern.

Management not hospitality/customer oriented.

The property is convenient, interesting location and nice decor. Rooms are narrow but there is ample working space if you are a business traveler. Housekeeping staff was very responsive, the Bar manager ABC is phenominal and also provided us with many great recommendations for diinner among other things. The Sales Manager is rude and uncompromising. The General Manager apparenty backs poor customer service behavior from other managers as concerns were not only not addressed but were belittled. Unfortunately as much as I liked the "working" staff, the management was so disrespectful and just rude to me personally I won't stay here again. I was there for an entire week,and it was very apparent my comfort and business wasn't even close to a priority to the sales and general management. Hard to support a hospitality business when their management is less than hospitable.

Nice new hotel, with innovative layouts. Looks like more nice to come in revitalization going on around it.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
When we stayed, this facility had only been open about a month. Everything was new and fresh, including very innovative and accomodating new designs in the rooms. Very useful and effectient use of space with some nice accomodations. Plus, though not much was opened yet during our stay, the converted former bakery complex/campus in which the hotel resides is showing promise of being a nice little hub of various little shops and services in the upper reaches of Pittsburgh. Good access to several nearby universities like Chatham and Carnegie Mellon, good access to main arteries to downtown, but removed enough to be out of the center-city hub bub.

K-Mart Sheets and no mattress cover

the sheets do not fit the bed ... there is no mattress cover ... the bottom fitted sheet covers only 1/4 of the mattress depth causing the sheet to climb during the night and you will find yourself sleeping on top of an uncovered mattress ... unsanitary and potential bed bug issue ... yuck!

DIRTY-FILTHY PIG PEN

1. Puke on side of commode. 2 Pink mold in bathtub. 3.Puke on side of vanity. 4. Dirty linen 5. Paper thin walls. 8. Urine smell in hallway. A good place to take yopur sick cat or dog to recover (they could urinate,defecate,vomit) and the cleaning staff would not even notice.
