Breakfast was so-so. Terrible sausage! No apple juice. Hot water for tea contaminated with bitter coffee taste. Chair in room is too big (deep) for normal-sized adults. Very uncomfortable and useless for any human being except Shaquille O’Neal!

If you're looking for a place to stay somewhere in western PA, this is a great option. I've stayed at different hotels in Washington, Donegal, and Somerset, and this is one of my favorites. From I-70 it's an easy on/off. The rooms are clean and relatively recently remodeled. There are soft & firm pillow options. The hot water comes quickly and is HOT, the cold water is delicious (does it come from local mountains?). A walk across the parking lot gets you good Mexican food. For $50 you can bring your dog or cat.

The hotel itself is average. The marijuana odor noticed in upstairs hallways and especially in our room was really unpleasant. It was immediately noticeable after checking in, so I explained the problem at the front desk and requested a different room. We were moved from the 4th floor to the 5th floor on the same side of the hotel. It was helpful to run the fan, but odor was significant through 11 pm or so, then dissipated overnight into the morning. I don't expect to stay at a Hampton Inn ever again.
