"We checked in and surveyed the small room and decided it was a not a good fit for a family of 3. The bunk bed was shaky and my son was worried sleeping on it. It was low ceiling and he got claustrophobic. We checked out at the front desk/restaurant within 20-25 minutes of entering the room."

"The best thing about this motel is the location; almost right to the gate of Sequoia National Park. You are paying a premium purely for the convenience of driving into the park within minutes, rather than spending an hour commuting from a larger town. However, lower your expectations. It’s a true motel, nothing more. The rooms are dated, and the amenities are bare-bones. Come for the convenience, but don't expect a resort experience."
