I was bumped from my original room size 9f 2 queen beds. I had the choice of a king bed and roll away for 2 adults and 2 children or go to another hotel that wasn't near where i wanted to be. Took the king bed and roll away. The grab and go breakfast is a prepackaged muffin, instant oatmeal or a granola bar. No pool and 1 cleaning during 4 day stay. Hotel is dingy looking and the elevator smelt like smoke.

Very poor customer service. Very poor management.

Pros: Nothing
We made our reservations 2 months in advance for our group for 5 rooms - when arriving, they didn't have the type of rooms we reserved available. There was no manager on duty and no attempt was made to contact a manager or supervisor when we asked. The smell in one of the rooms was so bad that we couldn't stay in it. They did give us another room and said they would give the room with the smell to another guest when they arrived. The rooms were dirty. One of our rooms had no cold water. The hotel had no extra blankets or pillows.

Robert, I am extremely concerned the five rooms you reserved in advance were not available when you arrived at our hotel and my staff made no attempt to contact a supervisor or manager to try to resolve the problem. This will definitely be discussed with my management team and procedures will be put in place to avoid such unpleasant situations in the future. I am so sorry the rooms you were given did not meet our cleanliness standards and definitely were not what a guest should expect from our brand. I will share your entire review with my hotel management team and with my brand leaders in an effort to focus their attention on steps that need to be taken to greatly improve our service to our guests. I thank you for bringing these issues to my attention, and hope you will give us another chance to provide you with a much better guest experience on your next trip to our city. If you have no other place to stay.

Pros: Clerk at the desk was nice and friendly.
Cons: Enforce the ban on smoking in the non-smoking rooms. Provide a coffee maker. Update the rooms.
The hotel smelled of cigarettes even though it was a no-smoking hotel and my room, which was a no smoking room, had cigarette ashes in the sink. Bathroom sink had no plug. This is the first hotel I have stayed at in a long time that didn't have a coffee maker. I didn't use the kitchen appliances, but the stove top was really outdated. The room was reasonably clean but I have had nicer for less in the same area. Chose this one because I had a very early flight and wanted to be close to the airport.

HUMILLIATION AT ITS BEST!!! * * * * *

I fly a lot, and spent a lot a nites at airport hotels due to missed connections or early flights the next morning; this one here takes the price!! PICTURE IT: Phoenix, AZ a beautifull balmy evening, around 8 pm, after driving for 12 hours and in bad need of a hot shower and a good nite sleep,and the first words out of the receptionist mouth were that I need to post a $75 security deposit. "the place has been completly renovated" she added, and I would get my deposit back after "inspection"..I was upset with the request (it almost felt like a cavity examination); but after such a long drive and the fact that I was on an empty stomach (too weak to put up a fight, I decided to go along with it. The first room I got; the toilet would not flush ( sorry about the gift I left behind). The second room; I spend 10 mins. videotaping every inch of it, it was in such a worn and battled state that I was going to make sure I would not be blamed for it. Just what I need at my age (62),..I slept poorly that nite just worring about it. The following morning I waited 10 mins. for the inspection person to comeback with her verdict, the young man sitting next to me was also impatiently waiting ( and what a surprise; he was also hispanic...Mmmmmhh.?!) at her return, the "inspector" proudly and loudly announced: "YOU TWO ARE FINE" ......I big smack upside down her head came to mind!...The experience has stayed with me like a bad meal in the streets of calcutta, so I decide it to write this review.... SO Now; please ask me if I would stay there again.

Pleasant place to stay. As we had an early flight out it was ideal.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Nice room, very neat. It was a small suite with a kitchen large enough to cook if we needed to. The hotel is close to the airport and downtown Phoenix (if you have a car). There was a restaurant within walking distance. Yes, we would stay there again.
