"I have never written a bad review of any place before—I would usually just let things slide—but this time, I simply cannot. I booked this hotel for my daughter and myself; my daughter had a competition in that city, yet we didn't last even an hour in the room. It smelled absolutely horrible—like cigarettes—but it was a deep-seated, lingering odor that clung to everything: your clothes, your hair—everything! On top of that, I suffered an allergic reaction and an asthma flare-up triggered by the smell; it was so severe that I completely lost my voice for several days. For the sake of my health and my daughter's, I had to leave in less than an hour—and they refused to refund me a single penny! So, now you know: if you choose to stay at this hotel, these people clearly do not care about your health—for all they care, you could drop dead."

"Our family had a fantastic stay at Jerry's place! I can't imagine anything we would have needed that wasn't provided. He truly thought of everything for our comfort and went above and beyond to make this such a wonderful home to stay in. There was so much room to spread out and everything was immaculate. It was the perfect place to relax after two busy days in Philly. It was so nice knowing we could leave the city life and enter into this peaceful retreat in the evenings! The kitchen was fully stocked worked great for our needs! We also really enjoyed eating at Burrito Mix across the street. It was such a quiet neighborhood and easy parking in the lot, we truly couldn't have wished for a more luxurious stay! We wish we could have stayed longer! "

"Rooms were clean, but a bit worn. I believe they charged extra for added visitors since I had 2 rooms for 6 people, but only had 4 towels. No free coffee in the lobby, had to wait quite a while until someone showed up to man the counter. Rooms were very noisy with mechanical sounds of water running and hvac - over 60db at night. Very nice view on the river side, but I would try some where else given a choice. "

"We and many others were told at check in that breakfast began at 6am but it starts at 7 on the weekend. Seems small and insignificant but caused issues that Saturday morning."
