We love Mercure!

Pros: Breakfast Buffet was great!
Cons: Option for early check in when flights come in early in the morning.
Location: Eiffel Tower
This was my second time within 4 months of staying at Mercure Tour Eiffel. This time ,y husband was with me and we had a great stay! I booked a privilege room again, but got to experience the breakfast buffet this time too. The food was excellent. We had brioche, crepes, eggs and sausage, and there was a nice choice of fruit and cheese, plus other breakfast favorites!

Very Good Hotel In a Great Location

Pros: Location, View, Room size/layout
Location: This hotel is very close to the Eiffel Tower and with two different metro lines near by the rest of Paris is easily accessible.
We stayed at this hotel the first week of June and its location is great. It is a 5 min walk to the Eiffel Tower and two different metro lines. We stayed in a Junior Suite which consisted of two bedrooms and a separate general living area. We had the best view of the Eiffel Tower in the whole hotel (Room 1207). The breakfast was moderate but it did include all of the croissants you can eat and in Paris what else are you really looking for? The breakfast also included a very nice machine for making various types of coffee or hot chocolate so if you are a coffee person you will be covered. Our room included a Nespresso and the mini bar was included at no extra charge. I would recommend this room for anyone traveling to Paris for a family vacation.

Such a great hotel! Amazing location!

Pros: Location, multilingual staff, nice staff! Premium rooms get free mini bar that is refilled daily. Close to a few cafes and a Franprix.
Cons: Stronger AC, softer beds and maybe have washcloths available.
Location: Two blocks away from the Eiffel Tower. Taxis are stationed out front everyday. Close to a Franprix store and a few really nice cafes.
I absolutely loved staying at Mercure Tour Eiffel! I just wish the bed had been a little softer, the AC a bit stronger. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The room service was prompt and the food was excellent. Location was FANTASTIC! Two blocks from the Eiffel Tower with a few sweet cafes nearby. Taxis are always lined up infant of this and the neighboring hotel! I plan on staying again next year when I go back to Paris.

Nice hotel with friendly staff in a great location

Pros: The view and the staff, as well as the nearness to the Metro.
Cons: Heat/cold. Better showers.
Location: The Eiffel Tower is directly across the street.
The Hotel Mercure was easy to get to as it is within blocks of 4 seperate Metro stations. Rooms are small (as is common in France) but comfortable. Shower was a bit difficult to use. Only real problem was temperature. We were there in May and the heat was still on in the hotel. Windows would not open and the AC was not yet working. Restaurants in the vicinity are not all that great--but it's easy to use the Metro to get to anywhere else. Aside from all this, when you step out of the front door you get a remarkable view of the Eiffel Tower which is very close by--it makes any invonceniences well worth while!

Positive experience

Pros: Price and location related to our sightseeing plans
Cons: The restraint menu needs some expansion and enlargement.
Location: Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, and RER and Metro stations. Immediate neighborhood business, but restaurants and some shopping very close.
We stayed for 6 nights and were very pleased with the location, layout, and staff.

our stay in march

Pros: checking out
Cons: more cleaning staff
Location: next to Eiffel
The staff was pleasing our request for repairs was handled the same day the breakfast buffet was good. The hotel amenities were a little confusing ie laundry facilities are laundry service, iron & ironing board were not present, complimentary bottled water is 1 bottled water upon arrival per room per stay. Overall the hotel is in need of repairs it is just wore out and a little dirty.

Terrible stay.

No air condition. I was told there is no air condition until summer after day #1. I was offered a fan in replacement. I had to open the window to get comfortable, however when you do this you are awakened to horns honking and noise from traffic. One water bottle was given gratuity upon arrival. The water was not replaced any other day. The toilet bowl cleaner was left in the bathroom as I saw another person complained on another review, but it left a terrible urine odor. They should clean the toilet and remove the toilet bowl cleaner as it leaves a urine odor. Look elsewhere for a hotel there are numerous hotels with better hospitality and cleanliness.

Amazing staff, extremely clean and great location!

Pros: Wonderful caring staff. They made sure to always be so kind to us throughout the entire week.
Location: Plenty of shops and restaurants!
Our stay was really incredible. The rooms were always clean, the location was perfect since it was less than a two minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, and the restaurants near the hotel great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris in the future. The hotel staff were so friendly and always attentive to our needs. I also would recommend eating at the breakfast buffet, it was delicious daily and always fresh.

Close to the Eiffel Tower

Pros: Hotel was clean. Lobby was modern and updated. Had a water closet instead of it being in the bathroom. It was more than adequate.
If you want to be more to the center of the city, this is not the place to be. But if you want to be close the Eiffel Tower. I highly recommend the hotel. It is like a block and a half from the Tower. As you as you turn the corner, you have a beautiful view of the tower. I went on a mother/daughter trip and felt more than safe walking to and from the hotel. There are several bistros a block away from the hotel. The staff was friendly, the welcoming porter was the nicest we had seen in a while. For the cost, well worth the stay.
