Lovely and clean, breakfast was great and staff were friendly. Very well maintained and close to local shops and transport, great location Unfortunately the only languages on the TV was French which was disappointing but we just didn't watch it. Hot tub wasn't hot either so couldn't use it. Definitely a nice hotel to stay in tho despite the 2 issues i would recommend it

Lovely stay. Staff at front desk were very helpful. Room was small but clean. Restaurants, cafes, bars all close by and less than 10 minutes to the metro to see Paris’ sights. Would stay again.

I had three problems with the hotel one the air conditioning would turn off after 3 hr - so we would wake up every night sweating, and the elevator was broken so we had to climb 5 stories every time we came back to the hotel, and final our room key was inactivated ever time we left the room. The room was clean, the bed was good and the staff was very nice.

Worst hotel I ever stayed at.

I had the worse stay I ever ever had at any hotel in my life. First of all the staff was so rude, very unaccommodating for tourist. Would not point me into a direction to do my laundry, would not help me figure out how to exchange my USD. The worst part of it all is that almost had to call the police, I was in the jacuzzi and some other man staying the in the hotel I assume tried to get naked with me in the jacuzzi. Right away I told the man he can not expose himself like this in public. The hotel manager told me not to call the police and was not trying to side with me, I guess that is normal to expose yourself infront of young adults at this hotel. Tried to get me to apologize to the naked man, I couldn’t believe it. According to the French criminal law, indecent exposure is punishable by law. Also, there was pee still in the toilet when I checked in. Never in my life have I had this experience before.

I liked that the area had many restaurants around it and it was an affordable place to stay. I loved the spa! I don’t like that website advertised laundry facilities as an amenity because there were none on the premises. Rooms are small, but typical of larger city life. Staff was EXCELLENT!!!!

I booked the hotel for myself and friends all taking part in Paris Marathon - because there was good access and a spa. The lift was not working to one side of the hotel and the hotel did not elect to inform us ahead of the stay. There was also painting work going on, on the same stairwell - with slippy plastic floor coverings. Neither are ideal when you are struggling post-marathon. Plus the sauna was out of order. Prior to the stay we received several emails from the hotel upsellling us but nothing pre-warning us of the maintenance issues. We were unable to secure rooms on the ground floor or on the side of the hotel with a working lift. Hotel was otherwise clean and rooms were fine.

Give this hotel a go, hidden gem!

Wonderful hotel which is easily accessible to the attractions of Paris. Daily room service. Excellent breakfast service. Great front of desk service. We used the spa once and had it to ourselves. The pool was very cold. The sauna wasn’t working due to guest miss-use but a great facility otherwise. Great value for a hotel with spa etc.

The Hotel Residence Europe and Spa is located in Clichy which is a little distance from the city Centre and attractions but the area was very welcoming and transport into the city was not an issue.

Really great stay! I enjoyed it very much indeed recommend this place. It's decently close to 2 really good metro stations and a few places to eat later at night. The rooms were clean and nicely renovated. And the jacuzzi was nice. Unfortunately the sauna was not in service during my stay which is sad because i would've really loved it. And good breakfast options as well. I would definitely stay here again. Hopefully the sauna is available on my next visit. Oh and the elevator would be in and out of service. Which was also unfortunate but not too bad. But overall i give 8/10. Would be higher if not for those 2 things.
