Nice, clean hotel not far from the center of Paris

Pros: Cleanliness, location, and the friendly staff.
Location: Near Place de Clichy, 10 min walk to Moulin Rouge, Metro and bus station, lots of restaurants, corner bakery, several cafes and grocery stores.
This is a very nice, little hotel, located near Place de Clicy. My wife and I spent 3 nights there in August. We arrived early in the morning and the very friendly staff gave us the key to our room although the check in time was at 2:00 pm. The staff was also very helpful with directions. Judging by American standards the room and bathroom are small; however, the space is very well organized, everything was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. We also had a nice, small balcony. The hotel is close to the center, but not too close to be overpriced. There is a bus station nearby and line 30 goes straight to the Eiffel Tower / Trocadero (about 10-15 minutes). The hotel is also about 10 minute walk to Moulin Rouge and 35-40 minutes walk to Arc de Triomphe / Champs-Élysées. The corner bakery has an amazing variety of pastries and bread, baked fresh every morning. However, the hotel has no parking. So we had to park our car at a parking nearby, which was not cheap (forty some eur for three days). Overall, we loved the place, the location, and the staff, and we would stay there again.

Wonderful Hotel close to everything

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, spacious comfortable room, clean and quiet, close to everything!
Beautiful 10 night stay at Elysses! Nathan, and all the hotels employees were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Close to four metro stops making it easy to navigate the city quickly without the cost of cabs. Fantastic Restaurants, cafes, a market, bakery, pharmacy and Tabac shop all on the same block! We were sad to leave after our lovely stay and will definitely stay at our "home on Rue du Turin" when we return next year.

The hotel was in a good location and close to transit. The person at the front desk spoke English, which was helpful. The hotel was small but very clean. It was also affordable for Paris. Overall we enjoyed our stay and was please with the accommodations.

Very very nice!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: poor internet
I've been 2 times in paris and the last one was my honeymoon and i have to say that this is a Very nice hotel, I must say this is an average hotel in paris for a good price, I stayed a week there but originally booked 3 days to look around and check better prices but no luck so I was glad to booked this one, you have the subway just two blocks down the street, laundry acros the street and two nice restaurants on the same street so you are covered for everything, my experience there were quite and I felt safe but you don't really know what can happen when you are tourist so I must say that you have to be careful on every place that you visit, I definitely recommend this hotel small like everything in Paris but comfy.

I stayed at this hotel over the Thanksgiving weekend in 2010. It was very cold in France during that time of year. Very cold. I did not have any heat in my room and I was told it was a centralized system and all of the rooms were the same temperature. Therefore, I could not be transferred to another room. When I went to check out, I was told that I would be compensated for my stay but was charged in full. I was later told by my European friends that sometimes hotels do this to save money. Personally, I feel it's just bad business to treat your hotel guests this way. Although it is a nice hotel, I would not stay there again and caution anyone from doing the same.

September Stay

We found the hotel to be a great stay, based upon cost, in Paris, The rooms were updated with very modern conveniences such as the TV and bathroom facilities. The staff were helpful, spoke good English, and very pleasant. Their directions on how to find them were excellent (we got lost at first trying it our own way). The only drawback to the whole stay was a lack of parking, we were lucky to find one spot a block away. Remember to buy a parking card from the Tobacco shop to the left, and use the parking receipt machines on the street. The Metro station we used was only two blocks away, and once you're on board the city is yours. We found the ticket machines easy to use. They do offer breakfast with a larger than expected variety of food, but at an additional cost of $$ euro. There were also some small shops that sold fruit, soda, water, and other small items on the same block. This was convenient for loading up for the day or when we departed for the rest of the trip. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Great hotel good location excellent staff

We were kind of worried about how this hotel would turn out but it turned out to be a great hotel. The room was smaller than what you wd get in US but it was clean. Bathroom was small but very clean with new fittings. The front desk staff was courteous and spoke in English. There are many eating options around the hotel. Three metro stations are located within 0.2 miles of the hotel. We came back after midnight every night and the surrounding area seemed pretty safe. There was a safe in the room. Only thing we didnt like was that the front desk staff didnt ask us for our ID before giving us the room keys every time we came back. I read a lot of reviews and this seems to be a standard practice in Paris. I would definitely go back and stay at this hotel.

Best of Paris

I choosed this hotel because of the reviews I read in this web page and I'm very satisfied with it, next time I go to Paris I will definetly stay again in this little but very confortable hotel, best paid money, very well located from the Metro stations (Subways)- which is the best way to travel inside Paris-, quiet street, quiet neighborhood, a lot of restaurants around the area, close to Moulin Rouge, very good breakfast ( The Croissants are the best in town, believe me, I entered many bakeries and pastisseries), and ABOVE ALL, the personnel at the lobby are VERY VERY KIND (Sandra,Franck,Geraldine), they are always looking to help you in your stay in Paris, they are the best in the city. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to go there with the family.

No complaints here

This hotel was very nice for the price. It's very close to two Metro stations (Liege & Rome), both just a two minute walk. It's close by the Sacre Coeur. It was small, that's to be expected in Paris. Newly renovated, it seemed. Internet was inexpensive.
