Comfortable stay

A nice stay. Comfortable & clean rooms. Reception was welcoming. Only issue was a problem with the lift not working so I had to carry my (heavy) cases to the second floor. Wifi is painfully slow.

This is a convenient hotel for being close to the train station. The staff was friendly on check in and they were able to hold bags until room was ready. Note that the elevator is broken and only goes from 1st floor, it’s also very small so be prepared. Wasn’t too much trouble for us as it’s just one flight of stairs but after a long travel day not what you want to hear. Depending on time of day you may need to walk a bit away to less busy area to catch an uber. But otherwise no real issues with location. Room itself was serviceable and comfortable.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you had no other choice. For the price I perhaps should have expected poor standards but what let this hotel down was the service and facilities or lack thereof. Firstly the property doesn’t have a working lift from the ground floor. The lift only works from floor 1 upwards so it’s a real struggle to get your luggage up that one flight to then use the lift. The issue is then compounded by the fact that it’s probably the smallest lift / elevator I’ve ever seen. At best you’ll get yourself and one suitcase in there and a rucksack. Not ideal for a family of 3 including a 22 month old and his stroller coming from CDG after a long flight. On to the service. The staff were ‘fake polite’ begrudgingly answering questions and not being happy when asked if they could warm up baby food or if they had any non oat-milk to avoid allergies. My wife speaks fluent French but they didn’t think we understood any French and what the lady was saying to her colleague about us was far from pleasant let’s just say that! Other things I found wierd - at breakfast we wanted to pay for 1 breakfast for our child. They mentioned kids eat free if an adult buys breakfast so we bought one breakfast for my wife and for my son to eat too. All normal so far…however they told me that I’m not allowed in the breakfast area as I’ve not paid even though I only wanted to sit with my 22 month old to help feed him. No more characters left to carry on review

Location was excellent and very accessible. Near Gare Du Nord and Est. Alot of eating place, supermarket etc. Will definitely return again.

The most convenient aspect of this hotel is its location. The reception looks a little quaint with its reading lounge area. The elevator is tiny and required us to do a couple of trips as a couple with luggage. The room was OK, the bathroom rudimentary and rather cold.

A lovely hotel in an excellent location. The rooms were small, but for a small extra charge, we got a slightly bigger room. A reasonable breakfast and the hotel attitude were excellent.

Pros 1) Great location. Very near to Gare du Nord. Plenty of food options around. 2) Staff were friendly. 3) Room had windows which we can open/close to let some air in/out Cons 1) Bathroom (esp the bathtub) was an odd size. Even when standing to take a shower, water got onto the floor. 2) Old building/decor. Hotel was rather dark/dim, sending quite a depressive vibe. Overall, Id say if you like being close to the station and dont spend much time in the room, this hotel would be fine. Has all the basics you need with plenty of food options around.

Booked this hotel and were placed in a room with very evident black mold and got very sick, we ended up moving rooms to a much smaller, cheaper room and staff is refusing to refund us the difference in price.

Definitely worth a look

Perfect for gare du Nord and Eurostar. Lovely little lobby with ample seating, and drinks to purchase. Small elevator, but standard for small Paris hotels. Rooms also small, but not as small as others. Single room is too small, so if you can pay for a double room for single occupancy (I find it’s around £12/14 more) Bathroom clean. Bed clean. Can be noisy , due to dorms opposite.
