Expected much better

We were very disappointed in our stay here. I chose this hotel based on the seemingly excellent reviews but was left feeling quite underwhelmed. The rooms are very small and in tattered shape. We did find hair on one of the towels. The hotel advertises air conditioning but in fact it does not cool below 75 F, despite staff promising to fix the issue and then doing absolutely nothing about it. On the last night, we came back and our room was very hot. The groundskeeper said the air conditioning was completely broken and there was nothing she could do; it would not be fixed until the next day. Manager promised a refund for that night, but only received half the money and finally just gave up pleading with them. Also, if you are going to come back late, bear in mind that the front door will be locked. We were never told about this or who to call, and had to sneak in through an unlocked maintenance door or would have been left out on the street. Overall, just a horrible experience that certainly took away from our vacation, and not something that I expected when I chose this hotel based solely on its rating and beautiful photos

Beautiful property….. but very small accommodations and no AC even though it advertises that it has it. The air conditioner wouldn’t set below 75 and the people in restaurant downstairs smoke so leaving the windows open just filled the room with smoke. The staff is super friendly and helpful! We were just disappointed because it was very hot and it made it hard to get rest.

Our 1 day stay was very pleasant except for the breakfast. The receptionist was very helpful with moving our luggage to the 2nd floor. She even upgraded our room to better accommodate my handicapped wife. The room was very nice. It was very pleasant to walk to the river. However, the breakfast was very simple with only hard-boiled for eggs. There was luncheon meat, but looking back, it didn't look fresh. Both my wife & I got food poisoning later in the day.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at the property. Although we couldn’t take advantage of many of the amenities, the property was lovely. Rooms were clean, adequate. Breakfast was mostly pastries but a nice assortment. The only issue we had was according to the listing, we expected it to be closer to Disneyland. In fact it was 15 minutes. Additionally the address listed in the Expedia listing was actually 3/4 of a mile away, down a very dark, residential road. We know this because our Bolt driver dropped us off at 10 Chemin. We then walked the 15 minutes, to the property. Don’t know if that is on Expedia or the property, but thank goodness we were able to walk easily. Otherwise, the man who checked us in was lovely.

Very cute place. Quick uber to Disneyland but they also offer a shuttle. Disneyland is also conveniently a train stop so all transit was very simple
