Overall was all ok , except mess on Nyapi night quiet unorganised in the evening leaving many people without headset in center stage bar since music was only via headset that night. And room service limited till 23 with menu limitations as well.

We enjoyed staying in Hilton the most during this trip. Swimming pool is amazing and relaxing. Great view from the cliff.

I was disappointed. Advertised as a smoke free property which it absolutely is not. Also watched Sunday as who I believe to be the bar manager and a few servers drinking shots and beers and the manager seemed drunk. Not appropriate. The pool is amazing! Other than the bar staff the rest are awesome! The rooms are dark and dated and disappointing. If you are not traveling with little ones I wouldn’t stay here.

We had a brilliant 5 day vacation. Resort is amazingly good for families with kids, the pools themselves are huge, clean and well maintained and the slides are great. Lots of kids toys and activities in the pool, as well as an dedicated kids pool bar - absolutely great! Unfortunately, we had a small issue requiring us to see a doctor, the hotel has it's own clinic staffed by a nurse with an on-call doctor available in an hour or two, depending on traffic - very good for us, the experience was as good as it could be under the circumstances. We tried the sauna, gym and cold plunge pool as well as the massages, all were quite good. The breakfast was great, very varied and lots of options for all 6 of us. The poolside restaurant was also good, the portions of food are quite big, sometimes we found the kids meals to be sufficient even for us adults. Lots of Kuta around to explore, the Beachwalk Mall is about 7 min walk away and the Kuta Beach is a just across the road. Will definitely go again, the kids were absolutely thrilled with everything and even us grownups were more than satisfied, even if we didn't go for all the music and Rock parts of the Hard Rock empire.

The staff was overall excellent (polite and helpful). This property seems to be geared toward families... so if you do not care for "kid noise" I would give it a hard pass. Upon check-in I was sternly counseled of not getting tattoo ink on the bedding. Lol...I was not even wearing a Bintang tank top nor shirtless carrying a beer with braided hair! :)) The room was missing some areas regarding cleanliness. The drawers holding the tea and coffee looks like it was not cleaned in ages. The room aircon can not be set lower than 20 deg. C...so the humidity was a bit uncomfortable (enhanced by guests not keeping the hall corridor door closed) It was an interesting experience though and was happy to experience Hard Rock during my short visit.

The Hard Rock Hotel Bali, is probably one of the best resort style hotels in Kuta. If you are looking for an all inclusive location, with pools, activities etc then this is the place. But the activities arent super, most of it is for smaller children, including the pool slides etc. The food in the restaurants is overpriced and not great quality, none of the buffet food was any good, except the cook to order food like Masala Dosa which was fantastic...but thats all i ate every morning..... The service was great, but the use of charging to the room is not very transparent, so instead get a credit card with minimal fees to use instead. The area is lively, but very busy, noisy. The location is ideal as its very central, but traffic in and out of Kuta is a nightmare. Good location, clean hotel, good entertainment, with live music every night, with good services and great people. Food not so great and very expensive.
