October Escape 2024

Overall our stay was very nice. The addition fees at check in was disappointing though. We did manage to work around the dryer not working and the television in master bedroom wouldn’t turn on. The elevator debacle was ridiculous. But the actual room was clean, well decorated and furnished. It was spacious and accommodating to our needs. The only thing that would prevent us from returning is the unacceptable elevator conditions and extra check in fees (the principle).

Great vacation

We had a great time staying in this unit. Clean I would recommend new support pillows for master bed. All of them were very flat. But overall it was great.

Great place and perfect location

The elevator situation is definitely not ideal; however, the place was very nice and newly renovated! The condo was perfect for our family of 3 and my mother. It had a great ocean view! We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for us

While the resort itself is old and the elevators are not your friend, the condo was great! Very clean, plenty of room, had everything we needed. Overall, we were happy with the unit.

Where do I begin…..

FIRST and FOREMOST the wait time for the elevators is ridiculous!! I understand there are 30 floors, HOWEVER, 30-40 minutes is inexcusable!! SECOND would be how unfriendly the staff were!!! THIRD would be the luggage carts…. Having to give your drivers license to be held until the cart was returned is a little much. Mainly because some they required to do so and some (kids included who were in front of us) did not have to. FOURTH would be the rudeness of the store by the west pool where we purchased drinks and ice cream from. We were treated as an inconvenience but they were sure happy to take $40 for ice cream. SIXTH we went to get the luggage cart at 9:30 in order to be out of our room by checkout We will NEVER stay at this condo again nor will we recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed with our stay.

Everything was GREAT!!! Only complaints were the TVs (buffer and lose signal so can’t watch) and the elevator wait times. Waited 45 minutes to get one to leave.

Memorial Day beach vacation

The tidewater elevator is always a problem on the weekend. The room makes up for it though. The room is gorgeous, spacious, and comfortable. The view from the master bedroom and balcony is stunning. The beach chairs was a nice bonus.

It was great

Family vacation

My family and I stayed here the first week of July 2023. It was very clean and spacious for the whole family. The early check in was great and saved us time. We loved the view of the ocean from the balcony and the condo was decorated to make you feel like you were at home. Thank you for sharing your home with us and we definitely plan on vacating with y’all again.

Great property

So we stayed from May 25th-29th, and the room was great!! The only complaints we had was the first bedroom. In that room the air conditioning wasn't blowing, and the ceiling fan shook when it was on high. Luckily we had our own fan with us, so the kids weren't miserable. Everything else worked great, and was really nice!! There were cobwebs on the lamps, but that wouldn't keep us from staying again. This condo is located at Tidewater, so just know the elevators are HORRIBLE, but that isn't the owners fault. We really enjoyed our stay, and we will be back!!

GREYT STAY

The unit was well-stocked and everything we needed was right there. We were initially concerned about having to wear a bracelet the whole time we were there, but it worked well, and we realized that it was a security idea. If we come back. we would definitely rent there again.

Great Stay

I am writing this review 3 months after our stay and we still talk about our vacation all the time. The condo was amazing. Welcoming, spacious, clean. We would definitely stay here again. The most memorable part of our trip was starting our days on the balcony. We spotted dolphins and/or sea turtles every morning! The chair service was a great perk. It was reassuring to know we had a space on the beach, no matter how late we made it down. The elevators were not too bad for us because we tried to avoid peak times, but we did have a few long waits. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Stay

The location and beach access was excellent. The unit itself was clean and was as described. The only problemr the property BUT was check in. Our code was for the door was wrong and after driving for 6 hours ,unpacking , having to walk back and forth between room and not getting much help from the attendant at the check in desk i got very frustrated. I realize we booked through an agency and the attendant worjked for the property....... BUT

Great View w/ Bad Elevator wait times

It was an amazing vacation spot for my boy friend and family! It fit all 5 of us very comfortably! It was easy to make breakfast in the morning with the supplies provided at the condo! (That’s the only meal we cooked) The condo was filled with a luxurious vibe and the view was spectacular! The Elevator wait time was HORRIBLE! The least amount of time we had to wait for an elevator was 15 minutes. It made it hard for quick trips to the beach weather it was just to go walk at night or go up for lunch. Being pregnant I would have liked to have an easier and quicker route to the room in case of hunger emergencies or wanting to use the condo bathroom instead of the public restrooms provided. Other than that it was an amazing vacation rental!
