Great Vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at Seacrest Beach this last week. Property was clean, great location and management was very helpful. We are also very thankful to Security for all the support they give this development. We will be back!

Great house in Seacrest

We’ve stayed in many properties in this neighborhood and in Sunset Beach (beach side of 30a). We’ve enjoyed this house the best. Well appointed and in good shape. Having our own pool was a bonus!

Great Rental!

The house was lovely and spacious. Incredibly clean. The location was perfect. It was central in Seacrest! The beach a less than 10 minutes walk and by bike less than 5 minutes. We would rent this property again!

Easy Week

We came for Spring Break even though being warned away due to curfews and restricted beach access. We never had any issue and our group of boys found places to go after curfew to hang out. Our home was amazing and exactly as described. Communication from Benchmark was amazing.

Everything we hoped for!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 37 lifeguard Loop! Very clean and well equipped. The Property Management took care of any incidental needs we had in a timely fashion. Will definitely come back.

The walk to the local large pool a by long one and some of the family went to the beach but it was tooo long of a distance for some family members . We wanted to use the home pool but no one clean it enough for most of us not to get in ... it was close to being what we wanted but not a hundred percent

Fabulous family house

The house was perfect for our family of five adults and one infant. We enjoyed the pool, screened in porch and top floor balcony. The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pans, etc. Location is perfect and the bikes were very comfortable and convenient to have. We also really liked having the tram available to load up our beach items and convenient beach drop off.

A couple of minor issues came up (coffee maker stopped working & a sink handle came off in the half-bath), but Benchmark was really responsive & their team got everything sorted out quickly. Great location & our kids loved the heated pool.

Community NOT dog friendly

House was clean and well maintained. It is dog friendly but Rosemary Beach is not. Dogs are not allowed on the beach unless you are a resident and have applied for a permit.

The walk back from the beach was a haul luckily the coolers were lighter at the end of the day! Love the self-containement of the kids and the little pizza shops for them to be able to eat! Will most likely be back in the spring and next fall!

Good Location, Average Valus

This is a adequately maintained property. Be prepared to pay $50 per day to heat the pool. Bikes are rusty and poorly maintained. Property management company wasn't the easiest to reach at times. Limited stock of dishwasher tabs, no liquid hand soap, no garbage bags. We have had better stays in the Rosemary Beach area,

Good Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was in good overall condition and well laid out. Benchmark communicated well, and we had no major issues we needed that weren’t a quick fix on our part. If I were making some suggestions to the owner it would be to replace the living room upholstery, and to update the wall color to something lighter and brighter. The current upholstery has seen it’s better days, and the room color is drab, and not “beachy”.

Great for our stay!

The house was nice and clean, and the property management was very responsive, especially in keeping us updated due to a hurricane and we delayed checking in until it passed. Seacrest was not effected by the storm. There are a few good-to-know details that aren’t listed in the description: the pool can only be heated starting in November, so keep that in mind if you’re visiting before then. Additionally, the house has two coffee pots—a Keurig and a drip option, which was a nice touch for coffee lovers. One small downside is that there’s a limited number of washcloths. If you’re traveling with a large group, you’ll either need to wash them frequently or bring extras. Overall, the house is in a fantastic location and was a great fit for our stay!

Reviewer Comments: We tried calling and using the live chat a few times for some maintenance issues, question on a coffee pot, and then where to pickup the security bands and tags and where to access the beach...When we did finally get responses the customer service person was not helpful or we didn’t get the information timely. The property itself was good, the mgmt. call support people were inadequate. Also the cleaning person had forgotten some cleaning supplies and ended up coming back in when we weren’t there to pick it up.

Just "Ok"

For 12 yrs we've stayed in Seacrest Beach at least once a year. NWe've stayed in a lot of homes there. I don't feel like the listing was necessarily inaccurate, but I don't feel like the house lived up to it. The biggest issue was internet. It has it, it just didn't work. We couldn't stream anything. My family & I watch movies at night when we're on vacation, & we couldn't. The worst part was that we didn't realize this until Sunday night when my son, who's in college, couldn't finish an online exam because of the internet connection. I left a message with the call center & the property manager called the next morning to apologize. She scheduled a maintenance guy to stop by. He came by later & texted me to say the'd need to have a tech from the internet provider stop by. The tech came on Wednesday, increased the signal outside & changed a cable. WiFi worked pretty good & we could stream on the TV. However, by the next morning the TV wouldn't stream again. We ended up plugging my laptop up to the TV to watch a few things, sometimes connecting to WiFi and sometimes using my phone's hotspot. For the amount of money charged & the fact that so many people work remotely, go to school online, etc., there's no reason for any of this to happen. I understand that things go wrong, & I understand that the management company can't do much to fix these issues, but stay on top of it! It was so frustrating. Another thing is that the kitchen has literally the basics - no frills.

Furniture seemed to be warn, stains on carpets etc. Management company was almost unreachable unless by text. the Ac did go out during a storm and management did send repair quickly. We did inquire about renting an additional night via text, Benchmark charged our card without authorization and has yet to refund it. Overall satisfied with the home but not the rental company. We've stayed in Seacrest before using a different company and I would recommend them over Benchmark.
