Tucked away, be prepared to walk. There’s no transportation in aguas calientes. Water doesn’t really get hot in the shower but the rooms are clean and tight. Overall, for being in the mountains and having limited resources it’s a good place to stay.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered at a nice early start in the morning for Machu Picchu departures. Ice cold water, hot water, coffee and tea offered 24Hours. Also, they transport your luggage to the train station for you and have everything waiting for you when you get there which is so helpful. The location is right by the river and you don’t hear the loud train going by. Perfect stay and I would not hesitate to stay there again."
