The room was great, and the bed very comfortable. The staff was excellent and very competent. The amenities were well thought out and attractive. The facility, location and the rooms were very nice. The staff was unfriendly, not helpful and service levels were poor. The hotel only has 28 rooms and we rented “The Big Room” (it says that on the door) located exactly above the lobby. Every time we walked through the lobby the front desk person would say “remind me of your room # again, including one hour after we checked in. She gave us the impression we were not welcome at Holiday House. On the 3rd day of our stay, after no maid service or clean towels I asked if we could get the room serviced. The reply - “remind me of your room #”. At check out and at least my 8th encounter with her she attempted to guess which room we were in and only missed by 3 rooms. There are a lot of choices in Palm Springs to spend $2500 on a 3 day stay and we visit 3 or 4 times a year. Holiday House is in our rear view mirror.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with our free room upgrade due to VIP. It also included a bottle of champagne upon arrival. The room was very large, clean and comfortable, The staff was excellent, helpful pleasant. The place had a great vibe. It was close to many hotels, bars and entertainment. We would definitely stay here again.
