The property needs updating, but was basic and clean. Biggest issue was that despite signs everywhere onsite saying masks are required none of the staff was ever wearing one

Please know that we work closely with our health department and masks are required when within a 6ft distance of a person. The property itself was fine - unexceptional. Staff was friendly. Our biggest problem was that none of the staff wore face coverings while we were there, despite signs being placed everywhere that they were required. Even housekeeping did not wear a mask in our room. Plus, a serviceman entered our room to install a smoke detector and was not wearing a mask despite my son being in the room at the same time.

Thank you for your feedback. All employees are required to wear face coverings unless a medical condition prevents them from doing such. We follow all recommendations from our local health department. If there is ever a problem at a property, please see management so your concerns can be immediately addressed and your stay is as comfortable as possible. Under staffed and had to wait. I was understanding on that. Check in online said they were pet friendly and they weren’t. I booked a king suite and got into a very rank smelling room like someone was very sick in and it was only a queen room. I contacted front desk and they said they were booked solid (the parking lot was empty the whole time we stayed there) and they could discount our room. I agreed to that and they said they would only charge me $85 and they would take care of it. At check out I went to front desk to get verification for this and they said Travelocity had to take care of it. I would like my charges on my card adjusted for this less than ideal stay. I would likely not stay and this dirty and greatly needed to be updated establishment.

I was very disappointed that the pool and hot tub were closed for scheduled work from August 2nd to the 12th. I would not have booked this hotel if I had known that the pool and hot tub would be closed. The light that you should be able to turn on when you enter the room was burned out. The next lamp just past the sink was also burned out. The dead bolt lock on the door would not work. The bolt and the plate did not match up properly, so it couldn't be used. The room had a microwave and a refrigerator. The refrigerator was plugged into the only electrical outlet for the desk making it necessary to choose between having the refrigerator plugged in or my laptop. Upon first use of the toilet, I found that it was clogged or draining very slowly. A very pleasant young woman from the service staff brought me a plunger with which I quickly fixed the problem. While we're talking about the bathroom, the bathtub had no texture on the bottom making it very slick.On a positive note, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the TV and remote control worked just fine. The WiFi was good as well.

The property was clean and the room was nice. The staff not friendly, the towels were sandpaper and there was no breakfast food left by 7:30. We had to leave and go out to a restaurant for breakfast.
