"This motel was very clean!! It has been updated somewhat, hard wood floors, large screen Roku TV, new beds. The mattress was firm, great size, I think it was a king. Remember, it is a very dated establishment, so it does smell a bit musty. They could use some heavier curtains or window blinds for added privacy. But overall, it fit our needs for our weekend stay, just someplace to sleep and shower while visiting with old friends. We would stay here again. "

"Honestly the staff was great but the room is where I had the issues … the tub floor appeared very unclean , as well the fridge was absolutely DISGUSTING!!! that was honestly my biggest issue there is no way that should even be in the room I didn’t even feel comfortable getting ice which is not ok . Breakfast is definitely bare minimum a few bagels, bread and some sausage gravy an waffles only hot items . Overall the staff was great maybe a little more inspecting if possible after they are clean . Please take that fridge out of the room "

"The location is in a great neighborhood, which we enjoyed for walking. The home has the potential to be a great option however there are some things that need to be fixed. The microwave door is falling off so we were not comfortable using it. Several pieces of silverware were in the drawer were dirty with food particles on them. The pan we used for cooking breakfast had to be washed. The tile floors in the kitchen were not swept or mopped, which we cleaned when we got there. The master showerhead needs cleaned or replaced, it just drips water, so we used the shower upstairs. Overall, the place just needs a good cleaning, and repairs need to be taken care of. Noticed on the morning of checkout when I grabbed a pod to run the dishwasher that the sink leaks and there was a bowl under the cabinet to catch the water. It appeared the garbage disposal was leaking as well. There is a new washer/dryer that wasn't turned on but the host did offer to come and do it, but we just opted to wash clothes at my son's house. The living space is nice and very comfortable furniture. This could be a wonderful vacation rental with a little TLC."
