The Air conditioner was not working and I spent a significant portion of the time working with the staff to get it fixed. They were unable to fix it and had to provide some extra portable coolers to address this situation. Also, not vegetarian friendly dinner or buffet.

This ryokan doesn't skimp on freebies - guests receive free WiFi and free self parking. A garden, luggage storage, and barbecue grills are also on offer.
Great place for the price. Step up from a hostel that works well for families and has a really nice Onsen for private use. Breakfast was also really nice! Service was also very friendly and helpful. Downsides are the location and the lack of shower in rooms.
