"There were many things to like about this hotel.
The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive.
We chose to have the buffet breakfast at the hotel which gave us the option to have breakfast on a ground floor restaurant near the lobby, or on a top floor restaurant across the street at an affiliated hotel.
We ate breakfast at both place but we loved the view from the top floor restaurant.
We could see the Blue Mosque and part of the Egyptian obelisk only a couple of blocks away as well as the straits that connects the Black Sea with the Mediterranean.
Our servers (Sezgin, Daminda, Trem?, and others) made omelettes to order and the variety of options was excellent. We had cappuccinos and teas to our hearts delight. My wife loved the salep (hot tea with boiled milk).
I was surprised to see how safe it felt throughout the whole Old City even when we were out past midnight.
The restaurants around the hotel were excellent. One even had a Michelin rating (next door) but we didn't try that one. We had one meal at a restaurant across from the hotel and our tour guide helped us order some great Turkish food.
Highly recommend it and we will return with family. "
