Room cancelled by the hotel. To absolutely avoid

I booked the night with pay later option. Arrived at hotel at 10pm to discover that hotel side cancelled my reservation because it was « non refundable » and could not charge my card on their own. So they sold the initial room to another customer and told me they have only one room remaining which was awful (nothing like the pictures you can find on the website) after a terrible night they charged me 60€ (in cash, no credit card) for this piece of **** If you really want to stay in this hotel. Just be prepared to the unpredictable.

Perfect location.

Stayed about 10 days. location excellent and easy to Ortakoy area. Hotel basic but was more than sufficient for my needs as I was out most of the time. Cleaning was very average. I had to ask for the fridge and balcony furniture to be cleaned as it was dirty. I once ordered breakfast and the dishes were still outside on the table the next evening. Room had a small balcony which was nice. I would gladly stay again due to location. Besides the sloppy cleaning, it would be my choice in the area.

Friendly family run hotel

Very good, family run hotel but transfer driver had a problem finding it! Very steep steps outside and upstairs to rooms. Most backstreets are hilly. Our room 106 was on the top floor and there was a very bad "twist" in the last 4/5 stairs. Unfortunately our balcony housed our room air conditioning unit, which was very quiet, but also the floor beneaths unit, which was exceptionally noisy and made sleeping very difficult. When it was off it was perfect Excellent breakfast made by Munere (Monica).
