"Although they are in the middle of renovating, they accommodated us all very well. We took our seven year old daughter and six of her friends to Birmingham Zoo for her birthday and stayed at this hotel for the weekend. The staff was very nice and responsive."

"This hotel was excellent! All new, nice staff, easy check in and check out. Breakfast was not bad. Rooms were a great layout and size. Beds were very comfortable. "

"I was supposed to check in at 4:00pm. I get a a call to check in my room until after 10:00pm. Once I was able to check in staff could not guarantee that my room would be clean. After checking in and inspecting that room was clean enough to staff the night, I was denied more towels as 4 people were in one room and we only had 3 towels. If at was to check out of a room 6 hours late I would be charged for any additional day. I feel my room should be comp and I should receive a free staff if I ever decided to return to this hotel, which is highly unlikely due to the service and my experience."

"If you’re on a low budget, and are looking for a place to simply rest your head for a night or 2, this hotel will work for the short -term. There’s nothing flashy about it. The staff was very kind and probably the best aspect of the hotel. The sheets and towels were kinda dingy, and not as clean as we’d of liked them to be, meaning there were visible spots (looked like plasma stains to us but it could have been something else) on them. A simple shower, quickly became a bathtub of water bc the drain was not draining fast enough. Many hotels will refresh your towels and room while you’re gone. This was not the case for our room. All these things are manageable, if you don’t mind them. If you naturally enjoy good quality & overall hospitality/service when you’re away on vacation or at any given hotel, go elsewhere. If you just need to crash for the night, it’s worth it for the price. You do get what you pay for."

"After a 5 hour drive I arrived and room wasn’t ready at 3pm. Front desk staff informed me it would be a few more minutes, that quickly turned into about another 2 hours. Room was very spacious and comfy but could’ve been cleaner."
