I stayed here at the end of March 2026. We rented a car and were happy to do so. This gated property was very nice and perfect for my family with grown kids. We had a lot of space and enjoyed the Villa. We were generally 20-30 minutes away from the places we wanted to visit, including Dunns River Falls, Blue Hole, bamboo beach, and Columbus Cove. I think things would’ve been more difficult without the car—it is probably easy to find a driver, but you’d lack the liberty to come and go as you please.

The villa was clean and well appointed. There was comfortable space for four adults though the lounge became somewhat cramped when the fifth adult arrived. There was a sense of safety and security at all times, which was welcome. Everything worked! Though rather removed from the beach there was easy access nonetheless. Other amenities were a short drive away. The corner deli, Scotchies for jerk delights and the petrol station. The highway and Ocho Rios proper were also easily accessible.

We read the reviews and almost did not book this property. We put in the number of days and people. The total price came up and then we noticed that what we were not asked to pay the total. We made what was like a substantial down payment not the full amount. Two days before arrival we were contacted by a coordinator. He explained to us that the balance is due upon arrival and asked us what time our flight land etc. He provided a number to call and gave us his as well. We inquired about the free breakfast, and he confirmed it with us. The property manager (Lorraine) was waiting for us when we arrived and free breakfast we in the refrigerator. She was very professional about checking us into our villa. Gorgeous villas, ours was very clean, the neighborhood is very nice, the pool etc. They have a system to ensure that the arriving guest knows all the details and that they know who to call and when. I think this wonderful villa got a bad rap because travelers are so use to hotels with a front desk. When I booked it said Mr Ruiz your total is Z. You don't have to pay Z today, you can pay X and pay Y when you arrive. Z+Y=Z I advise the owner/manager to just charge Z at the time of booking and put that issue to rest. If you tell someone who booked without paying attention that they have a balance, you are going to have a sizable problem. Our experience was very good and it turns out that the owners are very decent and honest people. This experience deserves a 5/5.

The place was nice however I had to re clean almost everything as far as counter tops and floors in kitchen and both bathrooms for it was not clean. It was spotted with residue and I couldnt use the place iike that at all. During the stay there was plumbing issues with both toliets which one toliets completely couldn't be used due to a serious leak which they could not fix during my stay due to the strenuous work required. However I managed to use it by pouring water into the bowl Everytime I had to flush to accommodate myself. Hopefully they fix it for the next guest. Master bedroom TV had an issue with low volume which I couldn't manage to fix but dealt with due to the fact that I spent most of the time in the living room. Beware, the dryer does not work so you will have to be traditional and hang your clothes out to dry when necessary. Communication with management regarding anything I needed was great and they were very accommodating. As far as the overall Villa, it was gorgeous scenery and very peaceful all day and night. Me and my family enjoyed eating breakfast on the veranda/patio section. Security was very pleasant. However, if your Jamaican, you will find that the local supermarket does not carry most of the things you will typically need like spices and herbs and is very very pricey. Over all, this place need a few updates in plumbing, furniture and maybe even some decor and most of the remotes needs replacing of either batteries or just a new unit .

Relaxing Trip to the Islands

Jamaica was our last stop in a chain of island hops. We were definitely short in dollars, but not wanting to sacrifice the quality of stay. It was a bit of a step down to get a self-catering villa. In the end, we regret wasting the money on the other 5 hotels. It was nice to have people cater to us but we wasted money on an experience that was not a value. We found a significant value in this place. If not for the fact that this place was unstaffed and you have to make your own meals, I would rate this as a 5 start value at a 2 start price. The villa is very large a spacious, perfect for taking a family trip to Ocho Rios. The AC, hotwater and the WIFI worked well. The supermarket is at the entrance of the development. The town center is 5 minutes away. We were impressed and think anyone would be impressed at what is being offered so cheap!

This is a must stay!!!

The place is exactly as seen in the photos. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Ocho Rios has an abundance of attraction, so much I would not bother to list them. We had an extended stay and visited more attractions they most people will have time to see. The rooms are air conditioned, wifi is fast, cable TV with lots of channels and water hot. This villa is in a large gated community with 24 hour security so we definitely felt safe. I think it best suits a family on vacation as it was three bedrooms.
