"It was a cool spot by the beach. Recommend getting the one with the balcony, it's a little musty outside if you don't like the smell of fish. But overall worth it."

"The check in went smoothly. One thing to note is that there is limited staff so they are not always on site. But a quick call can get someone there quickly. The manager is very friendly and helpful. We were comfortable, I like having the code for the room so no room key to carry. The free continental breakfast is very sparse as breakfasts go (cereal, bagels, some packaged hard cooked eggs (cold), a bit of fruit, and some packaged pastries. There was some milk for the cereal and some juice available. For someone with Diabetes, the eggs and cereal fit just fine for me. But there are local options for food should one not want to utilize the free stuff. They did have microwave popcorn packets available and a microwave and small fridge in our room. The location is easy to get to and parking was nice right out front. The room had hardwood floor (no carpet) and a big screen tv with Direct TV feed. The one not so good thing was that the shower was handicapped accessible but the shower curtain did not keep the water in so our bathroom did get flooded a bit when trying to use the shower. The room cleaning lady said they had changed the shower curtain recently and it wasn't as good as it was prior to replacement. I would hope they would fix that problem. I do recommend staying there as it was reasonable and we will probably stay there again when we next travel to Long Beach."
